Very personal, [name removed] knows each resident's current status off the top of his head, no looking things up to answer my questions. He keeps me well informed, and is pro-active about any changes that may occur. This isn't a facility, it's a home. Which leads to my least favorite aspect- sometimes it's messier than I like. Just like home! Don't get me wrong, it's NEVER dirty or smelly! In fact, I guess the " little messy" is why I chose Kinzler, my husband would never fit in a big facility, he would isolate in his room. At Kinzler he interacts with the other residents every day.... Peaceful setting. Personal care. My mom liked this place. I visited often amd was treated with kindness and respect. So was my mom. My mom liked seeing deer and their fawns in the yard. She got to go on outings even though she arrived at this care home weak. He helped her get more mobile and stronger. She was always happy, clean, clothes clean, bathed and taken care of . Family and friends were welcome

I've not been there at mealtime but my husband is happy with the food. We don't have an opinion with the activities - 3 old men don't want to go - or do much! While I think elder care costs are ridiculous. [name removed] is certainly in step with other facility. My husband is getting excellent care, and I appreciate the "home" vs "institution" feel and the personal attention given to each of the residents. My husband isn't very social and would isolate in a large facility.

A Place for Mom has scored Kinzler Homes 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
