2022, Dr. [name removed] was the physician. She misdiagnosed our uncle health and causing his insurance to stop paying for any treatments. We requested two bed railings, but they would only put one. He eventually fell out of his bed onto the floor and hit his head! It was not uncommon to see his clothes worn by other patients. Without any physical therapy and unable to move around on his own, his bed wound became worse. His body deteriorated before our eyes and there was nothing we could do. When hospice was finally called, and they knew they couldn’t squeeze more $ from us, they moved him to an overcrowded room, where we had to hear other patents screaming random numbers, yelling fowl words, and begging for water. After his death we got a bill for eye medication that was NEVER administered. The Vineyard was more like a psychiatric hospital then a rehab clinic. Don’t ever send your loved one there. If you do, I hope they are capable telling you what is happening there when you are not there.
