Keystone Villa at Douglassville Independent Living

Great place to retire with dignity. We are always proud to have our children & grandkids visit and show them our new home with always something new and exciting to do.

The staff is outstanding, caring, attentive-never negative vibes, even during trying times. Couldn't be a better place. In my working days, I got inside many facilites and this was and is the best.

This a neighborhood of friendly and helpful people. My husband and I feel secure and I am able to play games and take day trips knowing he is safe and they can reach me immediately if needed. They really care about you.

The idea of having a parent move to a senior living center is a stressful and difficult decision to make. Thankfully, our family found Keystone Villa Douglassville. After our initial visit, we knew this place would be a perfit fit. All staff members are so friendly and caring to residents and family members. My mother immediately felt welcomed and special because every staff member she encountered acknowledged her in a friendly manner using her given name. This beautiful facility is always clean and well cared for. Carefully thought out ans appropriate daily activites are available for residents. Our family has seen our mother make a complete transformation into a happy, smiling, social butterfly who gladly participates in all the various activites and bus trips. My mom stated 'you no longer need to worry about me. I really like my new home and my new friends. The food is very good, and there are so many activities to keep me busy all day. KV is a wonderful place: my mom is in an apartment and loves the weekly housecleaning and the laundry services. The food is restaurant quality and the variety great. Staff is very helpful and friendly, plus they check on residents: notice if you’re missing at meals, stop to chat, keep me in the loop (as mom requested). There are many amenities plus organized trips for the residents.

[name removed]is the best. We never did get a place at the independent living but did get one next door in the assisted living. [name removed] helped us migrate there. [name removed] at the assisted living unit was just as helpful and nice

My mother has been at Keystone Villa Douglassville for about 3 years. Her apartment is lovely and the (weekly) housekeeping staff does a great job keeping it clean. The activities director orchestrates a very full and diverse monthly schedule of opportunities for the residents. A variety of medical appointments (e.g. podiatrist, dermotologist, hearing specialists, etc) can be arranged on site. Importantly, I can’t say enough good things about the kindness and responsiveness of the staff whenever I have had a question or concern — from the receptionists at the front desk up to the upper level administrators. I have great peace of mind with my mom being at Keystone.

Wide variety of activities available at ll times. Non-drivers are well accommodated by shuttle trips for shopping (scheduled) and appointments (as needed).

My father recently became a resident in the independent living section at KVD. [name removed] and [name removed] were able to put together a really nice apartment for my dad under unique circumstances. You will notice 2 things when you walk in. First, the place is spotless. The custodial staff does an excellent job. Second you will see a warmness from EVERYONE, staff and residents alike. The food service, front desk and office staff knew my dad's name immediately. Having a loved one move from their residence of many years to anew place can be difficult but KVD really goes out of their way to make the transition easier. The food is really good and there are a multitude of activities every single day of the week. I highly recommend checking out the villa.

Imagine a fun safe environment where you are well cared for and attended too. That's Keystone Villa. Many fun activities and residents are genuinely happy living life to their fullest. Clean modern buildings that are well maintained and an excellent pleasant staff.

Keystone Villa has helped me to have a greater time of life. I have friends and go on trips on the bus.

My Mom is so happy. She is more active than she has been in years. They have events every day and the socialization since my dad passed has been so great. She is healthy and happy. I don't have to worry about her as they are like a family to her and watch out for her happiness, health and that she keeps active. Her apartment and the food is amazing. When family comes to visit her, they are so surprised. This is apartment living at its best. When I come to visit, staff know me by name and always have such nice and friendly things to say. I can depend on all of her needs being met. I love this place, and Mom does also. I get calls from family saying they can't reach Mom, I tell them that is because she is out and about, call her in the evening.

I live at Keystone Villa at Douglassville. I love it here, made many friends. My dog Buddy and I have been very welcomed. I was afraid to leave my home, but I needed to be around people. I was very lonely at home. My family is happy I am safe and cared for. The staff is wonderful to me & really spoil my dog. You can not find any better. My children love to visit.

My father is moving into his apartment this week. The campus is beautiful inside and outside, with so many things to do. His apartment is spacious and bright. The staff members are friendly, helpful, and welcoming . My father is looking forward to meeting and socializing with the members of the community. When I first moved here, I found most people cool. I felt people had warmed up. Part of the problem is, I've been invited to join a couple of the activities but haven't done anyhting yet. Planning to soon.

I like living here. People are friendly. My wife and I live here. My wife lives in the memory care. I live in independent living. I love, that I can see my wife anytime.

They help with anything, and suggest/follow through to make it a homey and safe place to live.

I have lived at the Villa for 3.5 years. This is home for me. The satff is very caring and concerned for every resident. My familiy loves to come visit and are welcomed everytime.

Mom is doing so much better now that she is living at the Villas. There are so many activities that she enjoys and so many good people for her to interact with.
