Very pleasant and easy to deal with. Very clean Director and staff very friendly. Very attentive to residents. Meals are good. Plenty of activities. Seems to be competitive with other Assisted Living facilities. We chose Keestone because they work with TennCare, and didn't require a full year of private pay, as others did, to qualify for assistance. My wife's sister really enjoys the staff and the facility. [name removed] is very pleased and happy to be there.

Not secure. One person for whole facility on weekends. You can walk through easily during the day and after hours without seeing any staff. That means it is easy to walk out too which is a concern for dementia patients and their families. Plus sometimes the smell in the hallways is bad enough to make you gag. Keestone puts on a good show in the front common areas for prospective customers and visitors, but it fails to staff, secure, sanitize, etc. the rest of the facility consistently or reliably. Many of these points are made in other reviews here and elsewhere.

I have visited this facility many times and the staff is so friendly and really care about their residents. Always clean and pleasant atmosphere. I would recommend Keestone very highly. My brother was treated with utmost respect and very well taken care of. It is a beautiful and well maintained facility.

I would not recommend this facility. Most nights after around 7pm, no one will answer the phone. They usually only have one staff member to cover the whole building on nights and weekends, and, you can walk through the building multiple times and never find that person on many occasions. The security doors are usually unlocked where one can go in and out, freely, dementia patients included. Most times, noone even knows I was in the building visiting.

I want to start by saying that Keestone is now, with the new addition and the planned future upgrades the finest by far of any facility in middle Tennessee. I realize that the cost is shocking at first but when you see and experience the facility and quality of management and care it is hard to believe that they can do all they do for the cost. My mother has dementia and my father is quite a bit older than her and needs the added care that they offer at Keestone. They are together in a 1 bedroom and they are both happier than I have seen them in years. I've observed them together over the past couple of weeks and they act the way they did 45 years ago. I know everyone may not experience the extreme change in their loved ones as we have as a family but I've watched others with their family at the facility and I can see their joy also. I thank God for the truly heartfelt care and understanding that I've experienced at Keestone.

Nice facility; Clean; Smells Fresh; Friendly Staff; Patients seemed happy. Patients stay on a per month basis only & can leave with a 30 days notice. Building is not locked & outdoor area is not secure. Cost is $2,195 or $2,495 and up per month depending on size of room, with extra $500 one time fee to participate in activities.

A Place for Mom has scored Keestone Senior Community 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
