A feeling of family. That diminished over time with staff changes. Plus management changes. It is getting better of late. Finding a good activity director has helped.

We would like to learn more about your concerns. If you are willing, please reach out to us at ResidentExperience@frontiermgmt.com to discuss this further. Thank you.
I visited Junction City Retirement & Assisted Living to look for a possible place for my grandmother to live. The staff person who guided us was very friendly, knowledgeable and understood our particular needs for Nana. The facility was a little dated, but we were told renovations would be happening soon. We liked the spaciousness of each apartment we saw and envisioned Nana calling it home. Would recommend this place for anyone looking to find a cozy place to call home.

Response from Junction City Retirement and Assisted Living
February 14, 2023Hi there, We are happy to hear our staff are providing a friendly and warm environment for you. Thank you for taking time to share your experience.
They are not very good at communicating. You have to take the lead on communication. My mom does not like the food, she says to repetitive and of poor quality. Take the time to do your research and if your loved one is independent this might be a good fit.

Response from Junction City Retirement and Assisted Living
November 21, 2018We're sorry to hear you didn't have a better experience, but we have to take issue with your claims. Our Executive Director is full time and on duty 40 hours a week. Our resident nurse also works full time and is available by phone 24/7. We also have trained Med Techs and Caregivers who provide additional care.
I toured this facility with my brother and parents before my parents were in need of assisted living. Thankfully there was opening when the help became necessary. This community is filled with caregivers who do more than just fulfill the requirements of their job description. This is an environment where residents feel warmth and concern in every aspect of care. It is a place I recommend to others who might be looking for answers. It is the next best thing to care from family, a place where people are uplifted, cherished, and respected. Although the building is not as new or fancy as other local options, you cannot put a price on an environment of love.

I was very impressed with the feel of the community upon entering it. Everyone was smiling and looked genuinely happy. The building was clean and you can tell they take pride there. My loved one decided they were not ready to move, but Junction City would be our first choice!

This place is pretty welcoming. While it is old, it is well maintained and updated. The staff have been there a long time, as have most of the residents here. Very lively place, and the residents seem happy. The staff know people by name,as they should. The biggest problem here is the waiting list is long.

My tour of Junction City Retirement & Assisted Living went well, but they did not offer certain things that we were looking for. The people there were friendly and the community was clean, but it was not the best fit for my mother.

March 17, 2017Junction City Retirement & Assisted Living - Junction City, Or Family, thank you for leaving this detailed feedback about your experience with Junction City. We always love to receive great feedback.
It is so great here. The set up and location is perfect for us! We liked it so much we didn't tour other places and needed to get a room secured for my dad. The staff are welcoming, helpful and nice people. Since dad lives in the independent he occasionally joins the activities. The meals prepared taste good and fill dad to my dad. The community is kept clean all the time.
