The welcoming staff was the first impression I had. The surroundings are lovely and there are many different activities offered daily, something for everyone. My mother is a card player and she was delighted with the opportunities available to her. The rooms are very well maintained and she is very impressed with the meals. The menus are prepared with care for variety and nutritional considerations., all served on white tablecloths. My mother entered Royal Gardens for a two week respite and she has decided to put her name on the list to become a permanent resident. The residents are all very welcoming as well. I was surprised how kind everyone has been. We feel they care about Mum.... Read more

My Mother has been living here for a little over a year now. At first it seemed like it was a Family environment after a while, I noticed it was just an act. We are trying to find my Mother a new place to live. The food is getting worse and the Kitchen staff is always getting fired or leaving. There are SOME employees that are really friendly but other that are very ignorant. One of the lady that is working in the nursing department is a real B! Her name starts with a M. She’s always walking around thinking she’s a real nurse when she’s not and my Mother says she hears her swear a lot. She has a very bad attitude when she thinks no one is watching. I’m not sure why she is still there. For the Housekeeping, My Mother says there is an older lady who’s been there for a while and she’s okay but doesn’t know how to clean much. For the price they pay this place should be better!
