My wife and I just moved to Nipomo from San Diego. One of our biggest challenges was relocating Dad (92 year's young with major hearing loss ) to a new place in Santa Maria. Making things even more difficult was the fact that Mel ( my dad) was very happy and well cared for at his board and care home in San Marcos,CA. We visited several places and from the moment Chris ( she and her husband are owner operators and residents!) came out to greet my wife and I, I knew Dad would be happy, content, well attended to and most of all, loved like family. Her caregivers are equally kind, gentle and caring. they see to it that Dad is up and walking, also making sure his TV is set to the channels he enjoys. Chris is quite knowledgeable and extremely diligent when it comes to managing mounds of paperwork, and legal requirements for keeping up to date with the many state and federal laws that govern the home care industry. Chris exudes feelings of warmth and joy that's contagious and uplifting. We look forward to it, each and every time we visit - her home cooking is outstanding! We've enjoyed sharing meals with the residents and her family on many occasions. What more can I add except to express my thanks and deep appreciation for the all of love, kindness and caring the she, her husband Ray and her team.provide, day in and day out. Indeed, you would be fortunate to have your loved one reside at Janelle's Residential Care Facility.... Read more

I really liked this residential care and I think that my father would have fit in here well. My tour was wonderful and they answered all my questions. The staff was nice and it felt welcoming here. Unfortunately, there was not a space available.
