Inland Christian Home has been a wonderful place for my mom to live. The facility has great employees. They are always friendly and helpful. The facility provides for a wide variety of needs for the residents. They have staff members who can assist with the medical needs, whether they are short term or long term needs. They have classes that allow the residents to meet new people. The food that can be purchased is prepared to meet the dietary needs of each resident. Truly concerned & caring staff. Mom left us b4 Covid but I have definitely recommended this place to all . Conversion from independent to 24/7 dependency. This facility is the benchmark of what other facilities & or elder care providers should strive to be. Very communicative & never problems with visiting ,cleanliness or bad attitudes. Only problem is that there is a waiting list & space availability. In a timely need. Need more Inland Christian’s Thanks sooooo very much

Our family was able to have an in person tour and we really liked the Inland Christian Home, it was huge and reminded us of a resort. This was one of our top choices, but ultimately it was what our loved one wanted, and there was another community that offered a better value.
The community is very neat and clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have taken good care of my loved one. The food is very good and the value is great. I would recommend this community to others.

We believed we were going to have in in person tour, but that was not the case. We met with the coordinator who provided us with information but without actually seeing the facility we were not satisfied. In addition, the $9k+ price was not acceptable. The facility is really too far from our home. We want to be in close proximity so that we can visit mom often. Memory care is not available for mom, the representative determined that skilled nursing is what would be available for her. Hospital, two-person environment is not what we are looking for.

I chose Inland Christian Home Inc. because my children did not like me being alone. The location played a big part as well because it is close to them. The apartment sizes are very good. I have had some meals here and I have been satisfied for the most par, I really liked their fish Fridays. They do not offer a lot of variety on the menu though. It is hard to give a good, detailed review since we have been locked up since I moved in.

April 14, 2017Thank you for taking the time to let others know about your great experience here at Inland Christian Home. We appreciate your kind words, and look forward to caring for your loved one, and making great lasting memories for the entire family.
My husband needed a safe place to socialize and be active without judgement. An Adult Day Care is very difficult to find to suit his needs. The Inland Christian Home has fulfilled all his needs. He only attends one day a week for six hours. This gives me a much needed rest from the task of being a caregiver. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The facilities memory care unit is clean, no smells and comfortable. My husband is treated with kindness. I would recommend their Memory Care.

In the beginning they were very helpful and very patient and they were also very kind. They have been very upfront with all the pricing and amenities. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a place for their loved ones.

My mother has been living at Inland Christian Home for a month now. She's loving it. Every time I talk to her or go and see her, she comments how friendly everyone is, both the residents and the care givers. We've been very pleased with this smooth transition. The facility is lovely, both the grounds around the place and the shared common places inside. My mother has been very happy with the food also. The activity directors are very caring individuals. Her studio apartment in the assisted living portion of the facility is a bit small, but with creativity the space is working fine for her. The independent living apartments and cottages are roomier and lovely, but we were informed that the waiting list for independent living is 6 months to a year. You can put yourself or family member on the waiting list for $350.00 and if an apartment becomes available you can check it out, or tell them you're not ready to make the "big move" yet. When we applied in late November, there was no waiting list for assisted living.

It was okay. My dad moved mainly because he was getting less ambulatory and needed someone to watch over him more. This is more of an independent living community.

It was nice but it was just a different feel with the people I talked with. I can't really say that there was anything I didn't like about it - it just had a different feel. I could see where it was good place. I'm not saying it wasn't a good place. They didn't offer shared rooms. All of their rooms were individual and they didn't have an opening. We need to find a place for my mom soon, so this wasn't an option.

A Place for Mom has scored Inland Christian Home Inc. 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
