The area is very nice and have many places in walking distance that I like to visit. I have observed how wonderful it is and how my dear friend enjoys being there. My experience is very positive in a clean and friendly environment.

The day-to-day staff members are very friendly, but when it comes to the upper management not so much - they could also work to improve their communication. The quality of care is not always consistent - the value is not the most expensive but not the cheapest so it's about middle of the road and therefore middle-of-the-road services. The meals and dining service so far has been pretty good. The activities we think were better with the previous activities director, our loved one enjoys when they have bingo, but the transportation bus doesn't always work and their service elevator has been down since July.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a great tour experience. The community is very lovely and all of the staff members were friendly and well trained. It was one of the first communities we had toured and we would recommend Imperial Club to other families who's loved ones are more independent or are more on the lower level of care/assistance. Right when we first looked at it we were sure this was the right place, it was in a great spot location wise and it had all the amenities. It seemed very easy to walk off campus and go to some of the local stores - there seemed to be a lot of freedom and flexibility. However just due to our loved ones physical health state, this just wasn't going to be able to work out.
I've visited The Imperial Club at Aventura about 6 times. 5 out of those 6 times only 1 elevator was working. They have 14 floors of residents and only 2 elevators. This is a serious fire hazard. I mentioned it once to the front desk and they were nonchalant about the situation. Should they ever have a fire and people's friends or family die because they were unable to get an elevator to evacuate because there are only 2 elevators for 14 floors and one rarely works I wanted to have this on record for negligence and liability. While I was there waiting at least 7 minutes to finally get on the elevator it went all the way to the 12th floor. On the way down the maintenance man put a key in the box so he could skip every floor until he got to the bottom floor. I thought to myself, how selfish to have left all of those elderly residents waiting on each floor who may have already been waiting. As you can see from the pictures people are waiting in front of the broken elevator. I have blacke

There is a problem in the building not being solved. They have 2 elevators and since my loved one moved in, only one has been working and they have yet to fix it. She is on one of the highest floors and it takes her sometimes an hour just to get to the meals because only one is working - it is a disaster. Other than that she has been happy with the services and it is a nice place.
It is a Nice community and I Recommend it

I'm happy here at Imperial Club. I have no complaints really. I like everything overall. They try to do the best they can to help us. And I feel good in my apartment. It was a very big change in my life, but I'm adapting. I'm trying to make my life easy and pleasant, and I can see myself living here for many years.

I really like it. The staff were very good from the moment we came in to tour, through the move in process and and even now. The communication is good with the staff. The managers respond to email requests. I am so happy my loved one is here. My loved one enjoys the food.

Greetings, we can't begin to convey our appreciation to the entire staff of Imperial Club, especially on behalf of Krissie and Kenya. As a family, a move to your type facility is a major decision and we could not be more pleased... especially because our father could not be more pleased. On behalf of the Witherby family, we wish to share our heartfelt gratitude for the care, safety, and constant attention that our father receives as a new resident of Imperial Club.

My father is 86 and has a comfortable, happy life and apartment in Aventura, FL. Given his age I have recently begun to think about : When will he be too old to live alone? He agreed to an Imperial Club tour set up by [name removed], the community’s Leasing Manager. Our experience was wonderful - from our arrival at reception to [name removed] pleasant and fun welcome to the actual tour! Nothing is better than visually absorbing an organized, clean, and nice looking building / apartment and also receiving a lot of good information / answers. [name removed] is amazing at her job! The 1/1 apartments are exactly right for any family member who is getting on with their years but still young enough to enjoy independent living in a great and safe community, located in a beautiful town! My father was set on staying in his current apartment but can’t stop talking about Imperial Club now! Thank you [name removed] and Imperial Club staff for making our afternoon so very good! :)

I went for a walk through with Krissie Rodriguez and she was very professional, helpful and most of all a sunny and bright person! I can’t review everything because we were there just for a little while, but what we saw was very nice and the staff we met was also very nice.

A few years ago my sister lost her husband. She has had a void in her daily life which needed to be addressed. We needed to find a place that she would be comfortable, provided a variety of activities, safe and friendly. We hit a home run at The Imperial Club!

My parents are the LOVES of my LIFE so when they needed extra care I went searching for a place that was close to my house. As soon as I walked into Imperial it felt like HOME...they had music playing a cute luau theme and all the residents looked genuinely happy. I was taken on a tour with [name removed] the Sales Director and she had now become a trusted friend. She helped me make the decision to move my parents from Delray to Miami so easily because she didnt treat things like a "job", she treated my decision as if it were her own family almost holding my hand through out the process. We love the food, nutritious and also delicious and the entertainment is amazing- there is always something FUN going on, lively music or a show, fitness classes, BINGO its just got a great vibe. The staff is so sweet and helpful and my parents are HAPPY and SAFE! I highly recommend Imperial Club we are SO happy we found this little slice of heaven for the elderly in North Miami!!

It is a place where there is no assistance, it is definitely completely independent. if you need help with figuring out how to do anything like fixing a TV, they will not help you. They still have the pool and all activities closed and we are still paying for all of the amenities. It takes many emails for administration to answer and no one ever answers the phone. They have provided no support during this time of covid and there is no community feeling here.

We chose Imperial Club because of the price point for getting meals and rent included was all within his budget. His apartment size is big, about 700 square feet. I do think that the staff could be better with communication to family members, for example they changed management and I was not notified and would have like to have been. I would recommend to families.

The staff is incredibly responsive and helpful. I would highly recommend this community to others. The location was close to shops and right by the water also. Communication was very good between the staff and our family.

The people are amazing! Go take the tour and meet all the key players. Make sure that the unit fits your loved one's need. Make sure the match is what is correct. Find out who to call for when to you need to check on your loved one.

A Place for Mom has scored Imperial Club 8.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
