Hudson Manor felt like a home when I walked in and I knew that I had found the right place for my father. I wanted to cry, I was so happy. Tampa General Hospital is only a few blocks away, so when dad fell they took him right there. The staff is caring and they love the residents. They feel like family. They are best available by text if you're off site, or in person. Also, the pricing is inclusive so you know what to budget for. The only negative is that I don't think that they have enough activities geared towards men. My father always worked outside and did honey-do projects, so activities along those lines would be great. However, overall, I would recommend Hudson Manor to everyone.

I cannot support any facility that does nothing except allow deterioration of a patient requiring hospitalization--not once but twice in less than four months. It was horrifying.

Our family had an in person tour with Hudson Manor and I wouldn't recommend AT ALL. They had residents "staged" in the lobby area watching TV. They were all in wheelchairs and practically comatose - appeared to be drugged. No parking AT ALL. We got a brief walk through the lower level, and then we left. This place is more of a nursing home than an ALF.
Our family had an in person tour and right away it was just not going to fit for our loved one - it felt like a nursing home rather than an assisted living community, that was our first impression. It was dimly lit, there was a small reception area with a lobby that had a TV in it and all the residents were just sitting in front of the TV. It did not seem like a stimulating environment at all.
Our loved one does complain about the meals and dining service - there could always be improvement there. However everyone there is just extremely friendly and helpful, when we speak to our loved one she always says she is being well taken care of. Based on our experience so far with Hudson Manor we would recommend this community to other families.

if your loved one is high functioning, then Hudson Manor would not be a good place. cleanliness was an issue here - they replaced the floors with nice vinyl flooring, but then cleaned it with a product that made it extremely slippery. they also had big humidity issues. so that in combination with the slippery floors almost caused both my loved one and myself to slip and fall. this was an obviously really bad thing. the air conditioning unit in my loved ones room never worked properly. the staff overall were pretty friendly, with the exception of the main guy [name removed], who is the director. he's very rude.

The location is very close to our family, what was a big decision factor and we also really like the layout of the facility. On the inside it is very well laid out, very modern clean and up to date.

It was okay but rooms were small with no fridge or sink in the room.
My Grandmother has been a Resident of Hudson Manor for 3 years. The staff is wonderful, always very loving and the building is beautiful and clean. Initially my Grandmother was reluctant to move out of her condo, however, this was the best decision my family ever made. My Grandmother is like a new person, she is so happy and has become more social than she ever was before. Max, the Activity Director, is amazing and keeps Grandmom and the other Residents active and full of life. I highly recommend Hudson Manor to anyone looking for Assisted Living for their loved one. My children and I come visit a few times a week and the staff not only treats my Grandmother like family, but they treat our family like family too !!!

People seemed older and less alert- smell of unchanged diaper in lobby - crowded with residents and few workers.

We toured this location when we were looking into care options for my loved one. I really liked this one! The set up was nice, each room had its own bathroom, and the level of care provided here seemed to be a good match for the stage of memory care that my loved one required. However this one wasn't in the price range that we were looking in.

Hudson Manor is a wonderful place. My mom loves it! The staff is caring, there are lots of activities for the residents, and it is a nice, relaxing environment. The doctor who visits on a weekly basis is very thorough and communicates if there are questions or concerns. I highly recommend it!!

This community is an all inclusive type community, we really liked it because we knew what we were paying each month and didn't have to worry about whether something will be added or not. They offer lots of activities and really try to get the residents engaged and encourage them to participate. My mom did not participate in activities at the other community she was in and seems like at this one every time I go to pick her up she is participating in something. We are really pleased with Hudson Manor and would recommend them to anyone.

A Place for Mom has scored Hudson Manor 7.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
