We picked this community because it was the right price. Close to me. Friendly people and a very nice environment. It is the perfect spot if you like people, activities, and entertainment. Plenty of parking whether you have one car or two. Everything you need as far as amenities is right there on the premises. It's conveniently located near restaurants, gas stations and grocery store

Homestead Village is a peaceful community and has a great view. I would stay there again if I went down and based on the experience I had, I would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

They have walk in showers available. All utilities except for water and eclectic are paid. There are somethings that could be improved on; however, their hands are tied locally due to corporate. The automatic door opener is too far from the door. The residents are great to converse with. They allow pets. They have a game room, beauty shop, health and wellness center, post office, tv room, doggie spa, small party rental room, coffee bar, and more for the residents to take advantage of.

It is going pretty good so far, I am happy with the place. It is a little smaller then what I thought but that is okay because I do not need anything to big. The community is very clean and my care giver comes in three times a week to help me out. I have everything I could possibly need here.

We toured Homestead Village and are actually about to move our loved one in here. We really like the facility and the concept and layout is cool. What stood out to us was the common atrium area as well as a craft room that is open 24/7 where they also serve coffee and tea. For residents who have dogs, they also have a dog washing station. It is a newer facility, only about a year old and the units do seem to be a little smaller square footage.

A Place for Mom has scored Homestead Village 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
