This community is the best to be in. They have a lot of activities like excising, devotionals and bible readings. We also have crafts and games. They keep us busy all the time. the staff are great here to me and all the residents.

Carpets are stained and dirty. Furniture is old and could be replaced. Gutters on the outside are broken and sagging. No back up generator when power goes down.

We sincerely apologize if your expectations have not met and we would like to let you know what is being done to address your concerns. Due to the recent ice storms, our building has suffered some damage and we currently have contractors on site assessing the damage, ordering items for the repairs and looking into an improved system for the backup generator in the event of inclement weather. We are aware that our carpeting and furniture has been “gently loved” over the past several years and we are anxiously awaiting capital improvements in 2016. Our Mom has lived at Weatherwood for one month. We are so pleased with the services provided and the personnel. She really enjoys the planned activities. It's so great to know she is in a safe and happy place!

My loved one was not at this community for long before increasing health issues necessitated a move, but during her time here I thought they did a good job overall. The facility itself was nice, and the staff were all very friendly. I do think they could have used a few additional caregivers, but that seems to be the case at many of these places.

The staff has been very helpful from the first contact. The executive director went to great lengths to provide my family any and all information we needed or asked for to make the long distance decisions and arrangements we had to. Her staff is very friendly and professional and the facility is clean and welcoming. The care is based on the individual's needs and preferences which has made the transition for my father much easier then it could have been. I highly recomend this facility when hard choices and decisions have to be made for oneself or loved ones.
