We moved my 86 yo mom into Home Sweet Home about 5 months ago. She has advanced Alzheimer's. Mom loved the place right from the start. Staff is very sweet, upbeat, and attentive. Food is homecooked, tasty, and nutritious. I sampled the food personally. Mom would have been overwhelmed in a larger facility, but this place really is home sweet home to her. She has essentially adopted one of the two little dogs living there and frets being away from him when I take her out. I feel very comfortable with mom in such caring hands.... Read more

This is a very old house that was completely remodeled to be a senior home. The hallways were made wider, railing and ramps were also added. They offer a more hands on type nursing; the nurse is on call 24/7. The staff is really friendly and seemed much more professional then at other communities. The residents seem a little more social here. They have monitors in each room and the residents seem to have no problem calling for help.

The Director was very nice, as was one of their Caregivers. 2 ladies in lazy boy chairs, 1 man in bed. 2 men coming in soon. Room is clean and looks comfortable. Seemed too quiet for mom.
