I moved to the Warburton earlier this summer to try a different resident living. I was a bit hesitant as I am totally active , semi-retired and most of my activities lie outside the community. I may be unique, however I will be objective for those considering a move to a retirement facility. The Pros: Friendly and caring staff. [name removed], the GM, [name removed]the Sales Manager, and Patience, the Activities Manager are great. [name removed]is also very proactive when there is a problem or issue that has to be handled. Parking is underground and secure. The facility is for 55 plus, however a majority of the residents have health issues requiring assistance or a care giver. All meals are included in the monthly rent. This is fine if you prefer dining at specific times. Dinner served at 5:30 does not work for me or I am not hungry. I lose out on several meals a week. Holiday Warburton is more of a hotel environment without the pool and bar. Good for those requiring convenience.

After initial very bad treatment by salesperson [name removed] , director [name removed] & rest of staff respectful - some security issues, single elevator for few months - food was great, but limited meal times & choices. Based on the experience I had, I would maybe recommend this community to other families.

In the search to find a place for my mom, I must have searched high and low from Milpitas, all the way to Almaden Valley, and there was some real good communities I found, but nothing as excellent as Holiday Warburton Place. I met someone at the front desk who was so pleasant and made me, my family, and mom feel so welcome, the staff members I could tell my mom would be in good hands with them. The community was so clean, and the apartments are beautiful even with a patio so my mom can get some fresh air in the morning drinking her tea. Food and activities was the other thing very important for my family and for my mom, and they have live music every Thursday and the activity director is so kind and puts a lot of hard work into the activities being fun, vibrant, and engaging, my mom cant stop sharing how much enjoyment she is having. I hate very little experience with Warburton Place. My loved one seems to be well fed, watched over by Essential Care team to my satisfaction and so far a good value for the money. I live out of town and am glad that I found the Warburton for my loved one.
There facility had no low sodium diet for residents. The food is very salty and over-cooked. The rooms have people who need a lot of care, especially physically. There rooms are accessible to the public and people come in to steal residents' belongings. Management will not inform the residents. Many residents have installed cameras on their rooms. When residents tell management, nothing is done. It is a dismal place to live. Street people come in to use the laundry facilities. The management does little to make the place a safe place to live. Do not let your mother move in.
