My parents were in need of a place they could feel at home. They are doing very well in the two months they have been at Solista. It is a huge relief to see them thriving. They often refer to their apartment as "our house."... Read more

Active facility. Nice rooms, pretty wooded view. Care partners to help with care options. Clean community.
Clean, food was very good. Looking for parents, surprised at how friendly and active residents were. Great services for care needs. Apartments were nice and staff was informative. Pleased with my visit.
The food was a little salty for my loved one. I would highly recommend them, and already have to friends. Movie night, Wii bowling, exercises, outings around town, and more are some activities for the residents to choose from. They have a picnic and gardening area with walking paths.

Our loved one always says they fix good food, and there are constantly activities going on to keep the residents busy. Our loved one has met some really nice people and enjoys socializing with them during meal times. The apartment our loved one has is spacious and has a small kitchenette and enough room to fit a full bed. This community was just meant to be.

Pincrest community feels like a family here, a really nice environment. They have a lot of activities everyday and right now they are doing Olympic themed activities. I do really like it here and I think the value for cost is worth it.

I could not be happier with the customer service, community, attentiveness and overall experience of finding, touring and ultimately, signing a lease for my mother in law. A special comment about [name removed], the Sales Manager at Pinecrest. He goes out of his way to make what may be a very scary or uncomfortable experience a pleasant and exciting one. My mother in law is excited to start this new chapter of her life. Well done "A Place for Mom" and Pinecrest.

I did not feel like they cared well for our loved one, and I felt like they were out for the money and that's all they cared about. It's a nice place if you're healthy and just looking to retire, and you have the money to afford it. We were just not impressed with it.

I am happy here, there is no retirement home that is perfect, but when it's time it a good place to live. I would definitely recommend this community to others.

Response from Holiday Pinecrest
May 11, 2021Hello, thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We are delighted to hear that you are pleased with your experience at Pinecrest! Do you have any suggestions for things we can improve upon? We see the 3-star rating and are wondering if there's anything that was not to your satisfaction. Please let us know. Thank you!
We ended up choosing Pinecrest because of the location. The apartment sizes here are probably a 3 out of 5. The food here has been really good, my mom enjoys it a lot. One that that I was surprised about is how much the monthly cost went up this year, I thought that it was a pretty big increase. The staff members have been very good and persistent about making sure the residents are safe during COVID. Overall, I would recommend the community to others.

1) Foos is adequate. Filling too much rice. Poor variety. Same every week. 2) Poor programs, only 4-5 attended out of 60. 3) 32,000 a year for 2 rooms. 4) Friends not welcome. 5) Walking in and outside not recommended.

Clean, spacious, I like the open feel to the hallways and the 3 story atrium. The residents I met were nice and the staff very helpful. 3 meals per day, housekeeping, and bus. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the visit.

A Place for Mom has scored Holiday Pinecrest 9.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
