Holiday Lighthouse Pointe

This is my 3rd retirement home and my favorite. You are a family member, not just a resident. When the lights in the city went out, the staff went door to door to check on us and escorted us to a lighted area with a generator. When the elevator failed, the staff paid firefighters to carry non walkers up and down the stairs while it was being fixed. It's a great place.

Reasonable rates. Very honest administration. They also reach out immediately if there is a concern. Generous sized apartments & elevated amenities!

Great facility. Just what my mother needed and she enjoyed being there and developed some friendships. I am not aware if you know that my mother is deceased. She passed in May of 2023. Great care and concern for residents at this facility. Thanks for recommending Lighthouse Pointe.

I had a hard time in the beginning but as time went on it improved a lot. The only reason I moved was money. I would go back there for sure. There's a family feeling there. Where I am now is about like living in my own apartment (not independent living). I would recommend Lighthouse Point for anyone. I'm more impressed now than I was when I first moved in there. The staff is very helpful they do communicate everything thoroughly. They are very kind and understanding. They make you feel welcome.

The Legacy 6 Synergy staff are AWESOME, PHENOMENAL?? Both agencies are very professional. They onboard their team right away and begin their services very quickly. The owner and team leader (Rachel and Ashanti) are very thorough, they ensure that their staff are well trained and follow up consistently on service quality and the delivery of services. I am extremely pleased and impressed Light House Pointe Va is a very caring, kind and professionally run Independent Care facility. The Ad missions Specialist is superb and the price is quite market friendly!

Set in tall, treed, landscaped quiet corner, but close to commercial areas. Staff supportive and friendly, low turnover. Private balconies and patios. Airy, light interiors. Ala carte services to upgrade to assisted living leve l.

Very welcoming community and very supportive staff, however unsure if we would recommend this community to others. The cost. [fee removed] a month and [fee removed] to [fee removed] extra per month just to ensure meds are taken is extremely expensive. And even then this place is on the bottom end of pricing for this

Currently touring facilities for placement of my loved on. [name removed] (Community Sales Manager) was excellent. He gave so much information to assist with this process. He was professional, knowledgeable, as well as caring. Just his attitude regarding the care of his tenants/community was very impressive. We are leaning towards this facility just because of [name removed] A great help in this process.

Everybody is very courteous and respectful of every everybody and they look out for everybody, all in a good way. They've been great. I would recommend this facility to others.

Holiday Lighthouse Pointe services excels all others!!! Each staff member works together as a team; to ensure that they provide top of the line quality services. I looked at each high end community and I am so happy to say that I finally found my home. Also, I know that I will be taken excellent care of from head to toe! I was misled about a couple of things. I feel like I was told what I wanted to hear instead of what is. The staff and the residents are awesome. I don't feel like I'm getting what I'm going to be paying for. I've had a leak in my bathroom since I moved in that still hasn't been fixed. If it was just one instance I would be fine however it is several things that are not what I was told by the salesman that were not true. The food is not the best. There is not enough variety. The menu is similar every week. There's not enough activities. There's so much space here that's not used that could be used for gatherings and other things. I was under the assumption that my room would be cleaned once a week. It's vacuumed and I get clean towels but that's about it. I have an iPhone with unlimited everything but I have no signal in my room. I was led to believe that there was community WiFi but once I go into my place there's nothing. I thought that this was included. Now I have to pay for WiFi just to be able to use my phone. I also spend more money on food because the food here isn't very good. I'm not used to eating frozen foods and lots of rice and instant potatoes. I really like the staff here and the residents. However I don't think I get what I'm paying for.

They are very accommodating and friendly. Updates to the community are looking awesome! Reasonable prices for the services provided. Apartment options offered are good. My mom really likes having the little kitchenette in her small apartment. It's taken our [removed] she seems to enjoy the company with the other community family members on the front porch quite often.

Our experience with Lighthouse point has been fantastic. I don't think we could have found a better place for mom.[name removed] the manager and the rest of the staff our wonderful and very caring. I would highly recommend Lighthouse Point. We picked this community, because of the staff and cleanliness.

What we like most about the Holiday Lighthouse Pointe is the customer service. They were very accommodating, and would go out their way to please us. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

The facility itself is clean. The food is good. Nice atmosphere. They do offer transportation, but it's limited and we were not told that. My loved one is a veteran and his appointments are at the VA. The facility says that is too far, so we have to make other arrangements for him to get to all of his VA appointments. One thing they really need to improve on is their knowledge of VA benefits and how they work. We asked them about it specifically, this being our first experience with using the Aid and Attendance benefits, and trusted their guidance on it. They basically told us that it's easier to utilize the benefits when a resident is in the facility versus trying to organize it prior to moving in. So they seemed to rush the process with the promise that the benefits would kick in and cover the monthly cost. They assured us that they accepted the full Aid and Attendance benefits and that his set amount for that and his social security would all be applied to his monthly rent. They presented the amounts as whole amounts and never ever mentioned anything about it being a supplement. We didn't know that the Aid and Attendance benefit is a supplement and not a set dollar amount guarantee. Even our VA rep told us she was surprised that it was handled this way and presented the way it was to us. We were absolutely misinformed and she agreed. So, either the facility didn't know the facts or they deceived us to get us in there. If they didn't know, they definitely need to get educated on Aid and Attendance before making promises to people and presenting them with amounts that are absolutely inaccurate. If they did know and deceived us, that's a whole other issue. Either way it wasn't handled correctly and now we're stuck and scrambling to find a way to cover huge costs that we didn't expect and can't easily cover. This is unacceptable and I don't want others to go through what we're going through right now. I would never recommend this facility.
