Everyone is so nice and helpful. If someone is new we help and make them feel at home.
The food was being delivered to the resident's rooms due to the pandemic. The dining room is opened with social distancing. The community is a good place. The only issue we are having is with the mailbox key. Then my loved one has to wait for the mail delivery since the key doesn't work.

We do think the community is well kept, and the staff members are all very friendly. She does enjoy the activities she can participate in like dominoes and getting to know her neighbors. Sometimes she enjoys the meals and others time not so much but we do think it is a good value for cost.

The dining room is now open to 20 people at a time and when we can eat in the dining room the food is good. The activities director is wonderful and is doing the best she can during covid. The general manager is also doing the best she can and is also wonderful.

I would say, don't come here. When I first came here, the food great and everyone including the staff and residents were so friendly. It is not like a retirement place anymore, it's more like a nursing home and so I am looking to move. The activities are okay but they are just not for me.

I did not like this place at first because it was entirely new to me but that changed and I've been here three years. I do miss the kitchen but I've adjusted well and continue to live here. I like the many new friends and the cooks and chef rule. It's a pretty nice place after all.

While looking for a home we visited several in L.View and found the Colonial the friendliest with the most to offer. Good food, friendly and helpful. They offer crafts, games (dominoes) and outside trips. I stay so busy and can also have game time if I prefer. Wish I had moved here several years ago. I love my new friends and home.

This is a good place to be and every one is so friendly and care for their neighbor and they have lots of games and entertainment. The apartments are nice and food three times a day. During the holidays your family is invited to join you in the dining room and on Saturday's during the week. This place definitely feels like my home.

I have lived here for about 4.5 years; since I'm a widower I live alone in my apartment. I enjoy the fellowship and friendly atmosphere here, and have made some very good friends with residents (all retired). The director of events keep us interested in the planned activities and the village management is the best in town. Also, the food is outstanding and we have the best chef here!

Food very good. Have a theater that shows movies and a library on the first floor with another on the 1st floor. Staff is caring. Have arts & crafts, bingo, parties, games, exercise, bus for shopping, Dr. apmts and mall outings and restaurant dining. Residents can have pets and visit dog parks, no extra charge,

A Place for Mom has scored Holiday Colonial Village 10 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
