My mom has been at Highlands Home Care in Woodinville for 11 months. They are WONDERFUL to her. She tells people that ask how she is doing, or how she likes it, that she is doing great, that everyone is very nice, and that she feels at home. All the residents eat together and socialize, they hang out in a huge bright open living room together during the day and work on word search, puzzles and play bingo. They work with the library to bring books the residents are interested in, and keep track of the books and returning them, etc. The residents are invited and encouraged to go on walks with a caregiver in the neighborhood if they want to. They have a very fun musician that comes in regularly to play piano and sing together, and I come weekly to play brain games, do chair workouts, play balloon games, pool noodle hockey, and laugh together! I would recommend Highlands Home Care, but you need to be very clear about the contract and what you are signing. They are not very displayed about that. They do not have activities, so if you need or want that this is not the place for your family member.

My mother moved in recently and the owners and caregiver team couldn't be more wonderful! I am confident my mom is safe and loved and well cared for, in a beautiful home. We moved mom in from a large retirement facility. From the time we walked in we knew this was this place for us! Warm welcoming professional. Moms words today is this move has been transformational! I can't say enough about Paula, her staff and home!

My mother was a resident of Highlands Home Care for 5 years. She received excellent care in a loving environment. The owners and staff are very proactive and aware, they always put the residents care and comfort as first priority. It is a beautiful home, very clean, safe, with great food. My mother felt loved and respected throughout her time there. We were very fortunate to have found such a nice home for her to spend her final years.

We had our mother at Highlands Homecare for 4 years until she passed. She had a major stroke and needed full time care that was extensive. [Name removed] and her team went above and beyond with my mom. They gave her the best care possible and besides that they loved her and she loved them. Highlands Homecare is always very clean and the home cooked meals are amazing! I know, because they would always ask me if I would like to stay for lunch too. Sometimes I did. I can't say enough good things about this loving home except they're the best and they will take care of your loved one as if he/she is family.

My mom was 103 years old when we needed and found Highlands Homecare. She had vision and hearing loss issues, but was still able to use a walker to take indoor walks and go to the dining room for the meals which she really enjoyed. They are prepared from scratch (I know, as I sampled on several occasions) Safety and personal hygiene are always 1st for the resident. The facility is always spotlessly clean. It is designed for the resident needing assistance in living as they age. Also the staff is very attentive to the residents needs as the age. I will always be grateful to God that he found such a wonderful place for my mom to live out the year and months that remained of her life

Highlands Home Care has provided wonderful care to my mom for for five years (and my dad for 6 months before he passed, and my mom's sister for more than a year). The caregivers are loving, caring, compassionate and conscientious. The home is beautiful and comfortable. Our family is very happy that our parents have been able to live here and receive care here.
