Highland Ridge

My husband lived at Highland Ridge for a few months and I think he got along okay. He did get in the cabinet one day and drank about a half bottle of hand sanitizer. They did call me and say they were watching him to make sure he was okay. He never liked anybody taking his clothes off and he didn't like his depends changed, so I understand the difficulties they had there. He was able to go into other peoples rooms and they didn't always try to get him out. They don't have enough staff to watch over people, they had about 15 residents in their memory care. He came exhibited some behaviors and they said he couldn't come back because he got aggressive towards the end. They said he pushed a resident, but the person didn't fall over. I asked for video of this incident and they never gave it to me. I wanted to see exactly what happened so that I would know, but they would never let me have the video.... Read more
