The staff is wonderful for the most part. Nursing could be a little more communicative. Everyone else is superb. The facility is kept very clean. After an "accident" they had the carpet in her room cleaned. The food is "farm to table" cooked by a chef. The residents love the food! We have already recommended this facility to friends and they have committed to a room for their mother already.

I would have given each of these a 10. A 5 is the best, but they are so much more. Their staff makes each resident feel like they are a member of their family. I have worked in healthcare for 40 years and I have never observed and or experienced such a high quality staff. Not just with my family but with all of the residents there. I give high marks for their administration for having such a high standard of caring and providing for their residents. My mom was in their memory care unit where every resident needs extra attention. I never dropped in for a visit when everyone was not being cared for or attended to. Heritage Marysville is an excellent facility.

Our family has been very pleased with this community, the staff members and the care services are wonderful. We have no complaints at all we are so impressed with the communication, they will call us and check in on us all the time, and whenever we call them they answer with a timely response. They recognize us when we come to visit and they know all of our names. It is money well spent and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

Good facility. Only thing it was a little more expensive and they didn't have as many services or seem as open as we were comfortable with. They were also travel wise further than we were comfortable with. If they were closer we may have considered this facility.
Lovely facility with wonderful people! Everything was clean and felt very homey. Lots of community spaces and planned activities for residents. All of the staff we have interacted with thus far from the executive director down to cafeteria staff have been super friendly and helpful. Newer, nicer accommodations with more professional staff than the last place my grandmother was at and at a better rate. Only downside was a smaller room size.

After to moving to Ohio, from Texas because of family I wanted to find a place that I could live comfortably and still be as independent as I wanted to be. The most important thing that I found is that I have as much freedom as I want or as I am capable of. I am not burdened by policies or procedures that make no sense, which gives me a feeling of safety and success.

Wonderful facility! I recently needed to move my Grandma into a full care home and wanted it to be closer to me. I worried about how this change would affect her since she’d be almost two hours from where she’d always lived, and with the pandemic rules in place, I wouldn’t be able to visit. Bringing her to Brookdale Marysville is the best decision I could have made. From the start, everyone was friendly and accommodating. Great communication, especially from the director, [name removed]. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood the process, got her moved in ok and that my Grandma was comfortable in her new home. No matter the day or time, when I call, there is always someone there to answer questions or help with whatever is needed. The nurses and aids are fantastic about keeping me informed on any changes (i.e. meds, therapy) and really make me feel like we’re a team, all working to make sure Grandma is well taken care of. Seeing how everyone there interacts with the residents, it’s obvious they care for them like family. Especially [name removed] at the front desk, who always goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and has the patience of a Saint. Whenever I call or visit, my Grandma tells me how kind and caring everyone at Brookdale Marysville is. I cannot express enough how grateful I am, knowing she’s happy and has such a loving second family. Thank you, Brookdale Marysville!!!

Our Mom has lived at Brookdale Marysville for almost three years, and we are very happy with her care. The administration team and staff have provided excellent day-to-day care for Mom, with kindness and respect. Her cleanliness, dress and appearance show those are priorities. The facility is clean, warm and inviting and decorated for events and holidays. The quality of life and communication has been a priority of Executive Director [name removed]. Weekly emails provide updates and Zoom family calls discuss current issues, ie the status of visitation guidelines, overall Covid-19 information and events. [name removed] has been prompt to respond to emails and phone calls regarding issues affecting Mom. Our family sees the personal care the staff give to Mom and their friendliness. We believe Mom’s care at Brookdale Marysville to be the best she can have at this time in her life. We would highly recommend this “home and family” to others needing care for their loved ones.

My mother has been a resident at Brookdale Marysville for almost four years. She is in her mid to late nineties. Throughout her stay we have found the staff and community to be kind, caring and conscientious. The spacious building and grounds are very nice with many amenities - chapel, theater room, beauty salon, library, ice cream parlor, activity room, courtyard with waterfall, etc. The staff have been extremely sensitive toward residents throughout the COVID pandemic. Brookdale employees have provided residents with many fun activities - parades, holiday decorations, 24 days of Christmas gifts, tropical week, Halloween window paintings and snowmen building outside of resident windows to name a few. Management provides continuous communication with family members. We feel comfortable knowing that our mother is cared for at Brookdale Marysville and we appreciate the peace of mind they provide.

My mom is doing great here, the staff is very friendly and she likes her room. In fact, we have moved her own furniture in so it feels more like home. They offer a lot of activities and mom has already started taking part in several of them, she also likes going to the dining area and visiting with the other residents. I would definitely recommend setting up a tour here.

The community is pretty and the staff I met were nice. This community looked clean, however it did have a dark log cabin feeling and I did not think this would work for my loved one.

I really like how open the front entrance of this complex is and just the layout overall of the entire building. My mothers bedroom is nice and spacious for her with lots of great amenities included . She has had no complaints with the food and seems to really like the activities they have available during the day for all of the residents. The only thing I wish the staff would improve on is helping her out of her room more often.

This was a great facility with great staff when it opened, however, it's been bought out twice over the last 3 years and the care and quality has decreased significantly each time. It's beautiful but activities tend to fall thru the cracks, they play videos for exercise and activity time rather than live people. They used to do larger monthly activities like chocolate factory, casino, and museums that no longer take place. There used to be something going on almost every evening and now that is rare. The nurses used to call with updates or changes that never happens now. There used to be staff around all the time now they have cut back so much it's hard to find anyone because they are so busy. There used to be some services included now every time they interact with a resident there is a $15-$50 charge. Very sad, totally corporate minded now no longer a resident centered facility.

My Mom is adjusting, but I think things are going pretty well there. They are very friendly and they are doing a really good job. So far, we are happy with them and we do not have any complaints with the facility or the staff.
