I agree with all of the positive reviews but add that the facility is very well maintained I could not find the slightest issue As for the meals, most weekday meals are sometimes disgusting and barely edible however weekend meals are excellent. The staff show love and attention to every one and very cordial to visitors. I am so very blessed to have my wife in this facility. ('Except for week day meals)... Read more

They have no doctor on premises no RN if something happens to someone that is residing at Hayesville house they do not call nine-one-one or an ambulance they had a toilet overflow three people were mopping it up when one of the residents needed Medical Care I would like to see this taken care of when they are more concerned with a toilet than the care of a resident who needed to go to the hospital

My Mother, [name removef], (known to everyone as [name removed]), spent her last days at Hayesville House in Hayesville, N. C. Every time my husband and I visited her, we found her very well dressed, her room was clean, the staff were very polite and nice to us, and we could tell she was receiving good care. This really eased my mind. My Mother went to be with our LORD on January 26, 2018, and was laid to rest in her beloved mountain homeland of Andrews, N.C. on January 29, 2018. In attendance at the service were her family and close friends. We greatly appreciate all the attention and care rendered to her during her stay at Hayesville House.

My loved one has been really enjoying her stay so far at this community. I am very comfortable with the quality of care they are providing her and that she is safe in her new living environment. She has had no complaints about the food and is enjoying the activities they have available throughout the week. Overall this place is the best of the best and I am pleased.

Hayesville House is a very caring community and if I had to go through this again, I would still choose this facility for my loved one(s). All of the staff including those who work in the kitchen are kind and thoughtful to the residents and family members at all times. They treat my Mother with love and respect and it's nice knowing that they care about her as much as I do.

A Place for Mom has scored Hayesville House 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
