Staff are friendly and seem very responsive when emergencies arise. Under staffed with techs. The Director of Nursing told us the first week of June that I would have to move my husband because he required too much care. I tried to talk to her repeatedly to discuss what I could do to change situation. He is a Parkinson's pt with incontinence issues. I never got a reply from her in an email or phone call. Her name was [name removed].

My loved one was in memory care I believe that the staff was good and they were so nice to him and sweet but there need to be more of them. They need to check on them more often their rooms specifically.

Mom is in independent living and so can’t rate care services. She had a really rough start, she was not well when she moved in and is legally blind. The manager and staff were so kind to her..they all know her by name and dining room staff already know her likes and dislikes (ice cream and salad). Residents are friendly and supportive. Food is pretty good. A value when compared to Brentwood/Nashville options. We picked the right place for mom.

They constantly told us they were short staffed. They certainly did NOT tell us that during initial interview and tour of facility. Administration was not qualified for dealing with memory care as they had first represented themselves. We were assured they were equipped to handle progressive dementia. They were not. We had to move my mother out of Harmony three days before she passed away per recommendations of Hospice. Although we were absolutely told (by Harmony administration) they were set up to handle end of life process. They were not. I could go on and on. But will refrain. Certainly for the price we found services to be lacking. To say the least. The biggest issue was lack of communication between staff and administrators. I do understand that for those that do not have dementia the experience there could be completely different.

September 9, 2024We are sorry your experience was not what you expected. We strive to do our best each day and would appreciate an opportunity to learn more about your specific experience. We would be happy to reach out to you, please email us at info@harmonyseniorservices.com.
Residents turn over way too high. High quality facility not close. After 3 years I will hit the road in 2025. I would not put my mother here. Ask the other residents who arrive in 2021 and 2022, they will likely agree. The property has a good product however management is disgusting. Staff leave routinely so do residents. If you are looking for a property to represent a home for mom, this is not the place. Continue the search. Freely ask others.

If "community " means Harmony, I would tell them not to even consider going there. I brought my loved one home from Harmony after being there six weeks. I will not recommend Harmony at Mt Juliet to ANYONE. Being there was Hell on Earth. If "community " means the city of Mt Juliet, I would tell them our Police Department is second to none. Mt Juliet is an ok place to live, but it is growing too fast and infrastructure is not being kept up for the growth.

My mother is in independent living, so she really doesn't receive much care, but when the circumstances have required it, care has been good. My mother has often said that most of the meals are ok, but not great. Plus, Harmony seems to be understaffed and doesn't seem to have sufficient equipment to expediently serve the 100 or so independent living residents. Cost is high compared to other facilities in the area. What we like most about Harmony at Mt. Juliet, is that it has a lot of things/activities for the residents to do, independent living apartments are nice sized, hallways are wide and well lit, convenient to shopping and medical facilities

The main area is always clean resident rooms were up and down due to staffing turnovers. When staffed appropriately 3 when not (again lots of staff turnover). For the activities we would rate higher if possible. The value for cost started off at 5+ grew frustrated over the periodic room housekeeping. Would probably give a 3 now 100% due to low staff and constant turnover

Maybe once they get new employees or new employee to check each residents schedule likes they will be Awesome. They are working on it. They have all bring Super nice an welcoming in making transition from home to assisted living.

The apartment like setting along with available medical staff in central location. Friendly staff and good locations, elegance of dinning room, large variety of foods at meal time and many activities. Also we like the location of the community. Dislike the equipment available in gym area. Could have some more low impact things like hand bicycles and fun things like skee ball arcade game, foosball table, wack a mole, etc.

Meals and dining service - same food all of the time and a couple of the staff have attitudes, and some are very nice. Activities - our loved one doesn't get reminded or taken to events and can't read the schedule well until he gets his cataracts of. I would recommend it, but it does need improvement. Most of people are very nice and do a good job. They probably don't have enough staff, especially the medication nurse. One nurse for three floors of dispensing.

The staff is wonderful and keeps us up to date on how my father is doing almost daily in memory care. My parents wanted to move there because friends in their neighborhood did. My parents lived there 2 months before returning home this past spring. They didn't like how small the 2 bedroom apartments were. Too confining

The staff blew our expectations away. Harmony at Mt. Juliet was wonderful providing care for my grandmother during the last several months of her life. I would highly recommend their facilities overall, and the memory care unit topped any we compared prior to selecting a location for her care.

July 19, 2023Thank you for your positive review, we are grateful we could be a place of care and peace for your grandmother.
I would tell a freind, t takes a while to get adjusted and that it's a good place. We picked this community, because of the close availability. The tour experience was great. I would recommend to other families. The aides and nurses there have gone above and beyond treating my wife, with love and dignity and like family.

Our family had an in person tour with Harmony at MT Juliet is high end, very beautiful. [name removed], and the other staff we met, were polite. The over all vibe was more reserved, not as warm as [community name removed]. They were very pricy. That was to be expected for a place as upscale as Harmony. It looked like they offered lots of activities, they had excellent weekly entertainment , even a bar. The menu looked delicious. Definitely a level up.

It has been a nightmare. We have been there since December. The management, in particular the Nursing Director, has been very difficult to deal with. My loved one has dementia and he has not received the specific care he needs. They are short staffed and the morale of the nurses and caregivers are low because of the director. They need new management. It starts at the top and rolls downhill. No communication. It is very difficult to get someone to return calls. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone after 8 p.m. I would not recommend this place. We will be moving soon!

March 15, 2023We are so sorry to hear of your recent concern. We hold ourselves to a high standard and your experience should not be an exception. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further with you. If you would be willing to talk further, please email info@harmonyseniorservices.com
Meals were pretty good. Overall the facility was clean, but if there was an issue and something needed cleaning up in my loved one's room, they would not clean it unless it was on a scheduled cleaning day. If everything was going right, the staff were friendly. If there was a problem, they were not. The care was nonexistent. I would be there all day, and they wouldn't even stick their head in except to say it was time to come out to eat. My loved one was a fall risk, and they told me that everyone was, so they provided no additional attention for those who were at greater risk. There were some good staff and some bad. I would not take a loved one there again.
