Greencastle Family Care

My husband stayed at Greencastle for almost 3 years and all the caregivers took amazing care of him. It truly is a home, and it always felt at peace that he was safe, clean and well fed. Not once did we have any problems and if we had any concerns, they were open and communicative. I am thankful for all they have done for my husband.

I cannot say enough good words about Greencastle Family Care. My family, all of us, praise the 100% care that they offer. We are so blessed to be able to have our elderly mother in such a safe, 24/7 beautiful home. Our mom is attended to in every aspect of care. Not only are there individual bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom for each resident, there is also a communal room and a sun room and a large kitchen for the meals that are given 3 times per day. Plus refreshments & snacks if anyone desires. All healthcare needs are met, and nutritious and delicious meals are prepared. The home is a welcoming environment which promotes dignity and respect to each individual. The family is quite friendly and caring. The home is spotless and absolutely beautiful.

Greencastle Family Care is an amazing privately owned board and care facility for our family members, both young and old. My elderly mother received the best care, in a magnificent private home in Farmington Hills. Owners [name removed] and [name removed] , along with their staff members, are compassionate, loving, respectful, kind, generous, and most of all, everyone is honest and trustworthy. My wife and I rate Greencastle a 10+

Our father was with this facility for four years until he recently passed away. Prior to this placement, we tried several other facilities and none of them worked for us or him The couple who own are good people with trusted morals and I have complete respect for them as individuals. Each resident has a private room and bathroom. This facility out surpasses ANY other one I’ve ever seen and I work in healthcare. They treated our dad as a family member. The caregivers and there are only two, (unlike many places that hire people with a revolving door) are highly trusted, experienced, and have good backgrounds. They can know if and when something is wrong. They really knew and cared for our dad and noticed the very subtle signs when he got sick and acted promptly. . He was safe, loved, and in a lovely And VERY clean environment. . I feel the cost is fair and worth every penny. The next best thing to having your loved one at home with you. Home is designed to accommodate the needs and comforts of the residents. calling them patients would be an understatement because everyone is family there and is treated as such. I have yet to hear a negative review of this Care Facility and the many times I visit there the residents are always happy and social. Great place for a loved one and the facility does not disappoint in any aspect.

Greencastle Family Care is a small facility. It's a beautiful home, and it's more of a home-type facility. Grandma has been there for about three weeks now. We like that there were fewer people. There were six residents, and it's gorgeous. It has a very homey atmosphere. It was highly recommended to me and they were right. They are accommodating and very efficient. They have a doctor and a nurse that come in once a week. [name removed] is the proprietary caregiver and they have two helpers, so my grandma gets one-on-one care, much more than at a big facility. It's great food and it's homemade. They don't have openings very often. They kind of tailor the activities to whatever you want to do and then they provide it, but mostly like puzzles, TV, music, and that type of thing. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. I interviewed a lot of different facilities and they were the most expensive, but they were the ones I chose. I highly recommend it.

Greencastle Family Care is an amazing care facility. We struggled with where to place my grandfather after my grandmother passed away and he needed more care. He can't see well, can't hear well and was almost 95. Our house was not a good fit and a nursing home was not the right place either. Greencastle was the PERFECT fit. It is a family atmosphere with a small number of residents. They have up to six residents at a time so they get very good care. They are also very welcoming to family. We wanted to be able to take my grandfather out to breakfast or to just go over and and visit with him. They have a beautiful spacious sunroom where you can visit with familiy and an open door policy. We were able to go and visit any time, we tried to avoid visiting during meal times or if they had an activity planned but they are so very friendly and welcoming. My grandfather even said, "If I have to be somewhere, this is the best place for me.

[name removed] is an amazing owner/operator of this home. [name removed] and her staff, [name removed] and [name removed] do a wonderful job taking care of loved ones. We were very impressed with the facility as well as the staff. My father was treated much better here than his assisted living facility prior. Even dad said "They take such good care of me here and keep me so clean, I'm not well enough to go back to my apartment. " If your loved one needs care, this is the place.

My mom and my brother have been there more than 4 years and the care is outstanding. This is the finest facility I have found after researching many places. You will not find a cleaner place with 3 home cooked meals. Most importantly, the care and love are superb. Their devotion to their patients is unbeatable. This is a warm, beautiful home. I can feel confident that my loved ones are well taken care of beyond measure. [Name removed] is the most outstanding, capable, caring, attentive and loving caregiver anyone could ask for. Green Castle is a Wonderful Place, one of the best Care Facilities I have come across, it's clean, the residents are well taken care of, the staff is very friendly, great meals for the residents & the rooms are beautiful & have their own bathrooms, as a Caregiver I highly recommend Greencastle ????????????????????

Greencastle is the best place u can place your love ones. I've been with them since they opened and its been nothing but a pleasure bein apart of greencastle family care. The atmosphere is so loving and u really feel like your at home. Greencastle is the best .

This place is by far the best place to place your love ones. The place itself is magnificent. The staff is very nice , The owners are terrific It's just all around a wonderful loving place, everyone seem to care and love what they do there.

The facility itself is gorgeous. The staff is caring and very knowledgable. They have a full set of services available to each individual i.e. PT OT VNA and visiting physician etc). They work with the senior and their family to individualize care. My mom was in a large assisted living community and did not receive anywhere near the care she has at Greencastle Family Care. This has been welcome relief as I can now enjoy my time with my mother because I don't have to spend time checking that my mom is being taking care of properly.

I can not say enough good things about the care my parents received at Greencastle Family care. The place was always spotless, home cooked meals, and I was always kept up to date with any medical issues. As someone who has had experiences with the larger care facilities there is no comparison with the service I got with [Removed] at Greencastle. They treating my parents like family and not the next rent check.

I knew this was the right placed for my loved one the moment I saw it! It is a small residential style community, with 6 residents total, and they do an amazing job looking after them. The owners are warm, friendly, caring people, and the facility itself is well kept, clean, and beautiful. The food is homecooked and delicious, and they've got a nice large patio for when people want to sit outside. I would recommend them to anyone, we could not be happier!

Things have gone very well with Greencastle Family Care so far! It's a very nice small community, and they do a really great job looking after my loved one. The staff are very attentive, and each of the residents gets a lot of individual attention. They also do a great job with the food, it's all homemade!
