Grandma Joan's is hands down one of the best organizations I have ever worked with. David could not have been more helpful, knowledgeable or responsive. It was an extremely difficult time for our family and he made the getting in-home care part so much easier. I highly recommend Grandma Joan's and am eternally grateful!!

I reviewed their website and spoke with the contact/owner. I believe it is a great business. The show-stopper for me was the fact that my mother has dementia and is mostly disagreeable, which makes the cost go up significantly. Also the fact that my mother doesn't not sleep through the night. The live-in caregivers need to have 8 hours of mostly uninterrupted sleep (understandably). My mother sings and talks periodically throughout the night. It would be hard for a person to sleep through it. I have no complaint about the business. Just review all of the flow charts on their website and you will have a good understanding of how they operate and how much it will cost per month. It looked like about $8K a month for my mother, plus you should get liability insurance, you need to allocate food budget for the caregiver, and you must use a payroll system to pay them and that has a per check cost. Then you still have all of the expenses related to continuing to live in the house.

It can be un nerving to have a stranger move into your home to tend to your loved one who is in need of help. But this agency has taken away my fear and sent a compassionate and tender person to help me. I couldn' have asked for a better person to help around the house do what needs to be done as far as caring for my husband. It relieves some of the pressure and stress and makes me feel comfortable knowing someone else is here to help.

Everything with this home care service is going great! I was very impressed with the amount of qualified candidates that I was able to choose from. They did what they said they were going to do, when you were going to do it, for the agreed upon price! We are very pleased!

I have no complaints about the care my loved one has been receiving from this company. All of the staff have been helpful and attentive to my loved ones needs as well as remaining professional in there work. The ladies that came where wonderful and always polite. I would recommend it to anyone.

My mom is doing well and everything that the caregiver does has been good. She is on time and does a great job. She is a companion, prepares meals, and she is helping my mom when she needs help. I would recommend them to my family or friends.

Grandma [Removed] was speedy, and effective. I could not be more satisfied. The care giver seems to be a perfect fit for my wife's needs.

I could not be happier (and more relieved)! [Removed] was extremely responsive. I could call and ask a question or a million questions and he never acted like I was a pest and never made me feel like he wanted to get off the phone. He allowed me to run countless "what if..." scenarios by him and answered thoughtfully and honestly. [Removed], the care giver we ended up hiring, is working out very well. My mom doesn't think she has Alzheimer's and is very unhappy that we've forced her to have a caregiver in her home. [Removed] has a way of dealing with my mom that is never confrontational. I'd thought it might be months before my mom would let her do anything. But in the first month she was able to get her to allow her to make most of the meals and do most of the cleaning. Best yet, mom gained 3 pounds in the first 2 weeks! She'd been steadily losing weight so this was a huge measure of success. And on the It's-all-about-me front, I have my life back! No more spending 20 hours a week running her household as well as mine. I can finally go back to working full time at my job.

After many years of supporting, scheduling and physically taking care of my parents I was getting burnt out. We had local agencies with multiple caretakers which was difficult to make sure everyone was on the same page. [Removed] talked to us to help find an affordable, capable,honest, kind,conscientious, qualified live-in caretaker. He prescreened and sent us people to interview. We chose one and she was perfect. This angel became a part of our family until my father passed. We still see and talk to her regularly. Our family cannot thank [Removed] enough for providing support and care we needed. I only wish we contacted him sooner than we did!

We had to let the caregiver go during the first week. We found they were not a good match together. The caregiver was a lovely lady and she took good care of my mom but the agency can do a better job finding a right match. If they need to cook and buy grocery, the caregiver needs to understand all that goes with that.

Everything is going very well for my father since he started to receive services from this home care agency. I know my father is in good hands, and being cared for very well. We have a wonderful care giver. I'am very pleased with all they have done for us. This is a home care agency I would recommend.

They are so far so good, we had a little issue with the staff. One had to quit for family issues. Another said the commute is too far for her. We have one now and we are satisfied and she is capable of providing the assistance we need.

My mother in law is having a good experience with this home care. They have been very helpful and kind. The care givers show up on time, and are always willing to help some more. My mother in law is in good hands with them. I would recommend this home care.

We were very happy with this care from this service. The caretaker was outstanding ! She arrived on time and did everything that we asked of her. She was caring and very helpful to our needs of what we needed. We would recommend this service and the caretaker to other families.

The Grandma Joan's home care service is exceptional. [Removed] [Removed], the owner, was extremely efficient, knowledgeable, and caring in fulfilling my family's needs. Having dealt with a number of other care agencies for the past 8 years, I can say that [Removed] business stands head and shoulders above them. We needed a 24 x 6 live in. [Removed] presented us with three sterling candidates. We ended up choosing [Removed], who has been one terrific caregiver for our father. [Removed] has exceeded our wildest expectations. We have seen substantial improvements in him since she has taken over. [Removed] can be completely trusted in finding a good caregiver. [Removed]: Just wanted to write to tell you how happy we are with [Removed]. She is WONDERFUL. Having been a chef, she is making fantastic meals for Mom and she takes such good care of Mom. Mom just loves [Removed]. I think Mom has put on 15 pounds since [Removed] has been cooking. Mom looks better and feels better, with the exception that Mom gets tired so quickly. But, I think that is just due to her age and her weakening heart. I about 3 weeks, all of Mom, children and spouses, grandchildren (10 + their spouses) and great grandchildren (19) will be here to celebrate Mom's 90 birthday. (Her birthday is not until September, but everyone needs to visit before school starts. Thank you again for helping us find [Removed]. Surely, there is no one better for Mom than [Removed]. Grandma Joan's has been a God send. The group of qualified assistant were superior. The Lady my mother chose - (with my help) could not be better. She is superior in every aspect and rapidly becoming one of the family. She has improved my mother's life by leaps and bounds.

My experience with Grandma Joans has been top of the line..They did everything they said they would do, when...Even after we did not need their service. David still helped me in getting certain paper work for my mother...I would definitely recommend their service...

It's working very well. We have found someone who gets along really well with my wife. She knows all the tricks and just what to do, she is very experienced. I would very strongly recommend them. They delivered the goods, they really came through. It is expensive, but worked out to be less than assisted living for us. Gloria is part of our family now, everyone just loves her.

Dealing with David has been a pleasure. With all my anxieties about finding a caregiver for my brother who has Parkinsons Disease, he managed to keep me assured that we would find someone to meet our needs. And he did. In fact, we had to choose between two candidates. If you find yourself in the same situation as us...needing an in home 24/7 caregiver, then i say look no further than Grandma Joan's.
