Grand Villa of Palm Coast

As long as you can do most things yourself the standard pricing applies. If you require assistance to get out of bed to go to the bathroom multiple times a day, the cost is prohibitive.

The biggest complaint is that the actual food listed on the monthly menu - does not match what is actually served for dinner. Quite often. Disappointing if you really wanted what was listed! People are friendly, there are a lot of social activities and it is one of the nicest communities in the area.

Our parents moved into Grand Villa of Palm Cost at the end of January and it has truly been a game changer for our family. They are very happy and very well cared for and it has been such a joy for us to see them so well settled. The staff and office are really amazing people and always willing to help.

A few months ago we began the emotionally challenging process of transitioning our parents from their home to a facility where they would more easily have their needs met. We began searching for a facility where we felt our parents would thrive. We visited three facilities in the area. While they all had something to offer, we immediately knew when we drove into Grand Villa that we had found what we were looking for. The tour with [name removed] was informative and only served to confirm our initial impression. Our parents have now been full time residents at Grand Villa for two months, and are as happy as we hoped they’d be. Their apartment is cleaned, laundry is washed, and they get three full meals a day. They see the doctor weekly, and get their medication administered daily. While we are local and are involved in their daily routine, it’s a relief to know that they are well cared for, and that if we need to, we can travel without fear for their safety and security. We Have had a wonderful experience with the Grand Villa at Palm Coast. Amber and the staff are so pleasant and welcoming. The facility is very clean and the residents all seem very happy. There are plenty of activities available to keep residents happy. We were glad to find this opportunity for our aging friend, where she could maintain her independence in a safe, clean and comfortable environment.

Grand Villa of Palm Coast has been awesome from the start of our search. They fully explained the steps of each stage and kept us informed of our Mother’s care and needs. The staff from Director [name removed] on down have been nothing but professional, courteous, and helpful…considering the environment. It takes special people to work in this challenging environment and Grand Villa does a great job in vetting and hiring the right people. They truly care for the residents and show it everyday, night, and not only when we are there. Great job to the staff and Director!

We liked the Grand Villa of Palm Coast a lot. It was very homey. They had a lot of activity and people enjoyed the environment. It was well-maintained and the people who showed us around were very nice and very informative. We liked that place probably the best. The dining area was nice. It's very inviting. It's open, friendly, and bright. The people that serviced the tables and stuff seemed to be very friendly and nice, too. It was a very good place.

The setup of the memory care unit just was great. With memory problems you can imagine getting lost but they have it setup where you come out of your room and you are in the common area. They were pricey though, but I'm sure for the level of care that is normal. They also communicated with me very well throughout.

What can I say about Grand Villa? I've been here six weeks now, and I LOVE it. I am in a Villa, and it is amazing. The staff is so responsive to my requests. The other residents are fantastic. I can be as busy as I want to be with everything that is happening here, or I can just hang back at my place. I can have three cooked meals, or I can prepare my own in my full kitchen (who am I kidding? I don't cook all that much!). My dog and I are so happy here. I am currently in a Flagler County Schools transition program called Project SEARCH. I am learning vocational skills. My experience at Grand Villa has been a true growth and learning opportunity. I didn't know how the washing machine works. Luckily my mentor has shown me how to do it, and she has been really kind. She has been more like a friend and a mentor because she has taught me a lot.

Grand Villa is a great place to live! I have to say that for a man who is 61, and I'm 20 years younger than the next person, its probably the most difficult part of it because just when you get to know a couple people and I've only been here a short time. It's hard because they pass away. A resident's wife from here, she's 96 he's 93, she fell down and got pneumonia. She's now in a rehab and they won't let her husband in until Monday, who has been together with her for 75 years, and he takes care of her like you cannot believe. So maybe I was a little bit young to come in here. All I can say is that everybody, from the Director on, has been very very nice pleasant outstanding hospitality, the whole 9 yards.

[name removed] goes over and beyond. Whole staff pays attention and willing to help at any time. An amazing experience at such an upsetting time. Wish my mom wasn't declining so fast to not be able to enjoy all that she is being offered. Their guidance through the dying phase has been very helpful to me personally.

Making the decision was difficult, but a good one. The staff at Grand Villa work tirelessly, with patience and compassion, with the residents, the demands are many and I have not encountered one person who was not happy to help me and my mother, this has meant the world to me.

The Grand Villa was the best choice we made for our family friend. He is so well taken care of and we no longer worry that he is alone or not getting proper nutrition. The staff is very kind and attentive to him and even to visitors. They make sure he does not miss any meals and encourage him to participate in activities. Thank you to all the staff members who makes this place a home. You are very much appreciated!

Grand Villa has been an answer from heaven for me. The staff is incredibly friendly & helpful. The food is AMAZING!!! The other residents are also friendly and know my name already. The move in process was seamless and after a few days, it's feeling like home. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs that little bit of extra help, wants more activity in their life, and wants to feel they're in a secure & safe environment. Did I mention the food is GREAT?!

I recently placed my Dad in Grand Villa of Palm Coast and feel I couldn’t have made a better decision for him. My Dad had memory issues (dementia) and needed some assistance with his daily routine. He also needed social stimulation, daily activities, and the opportunity to be around people his own age with similar experience, people he could identify with. After visiting numerous assisted living communities, we ultimately chose Grand Villa of Palm Coast. During our tour, we noted how meticulously maintained and updated the structure was. The grounds surrounding it were equally well-thought-out, inviting and well-kept. All of the staff, from management to caregiver, were incredibly helpful and friendly. After observing all of these qualities and interviewing the residents (who were very happy and highly recommended the facility), the decision became a no-brainer for us. We are so happy that we chose Grand Villa of Palm Coast for my husband’s mother. She is settling right in to the comfortable atmosphere and with the friendly staff. We chose Grand Villa of Palm Coast for the flexibility they offer to transition with her to meet her changing need for level of care. She is making friends and enjoys living here! First, the staff is so friendly, from the director all the way to the maintenance folks. We picked this community, because of the price, location and first impressions.
