I think it would be a great place for an older place for good care and a lot of attention. The staff are very caring. The staff are great to deal with when checking on my loved one via phone.

We had some issues with the friendliness at Golden Oaks. Depending on the staff, there were times where their care services were great, and other times where they were not so great. My loved one had an advanced medical condition in mid-February. Once moving in my loved one moved in, there was a time where his emotions got the best of them. I did try to get my loved one assistance outside the community. The way management spoke to me about the issues about my loved one started out as nice, and then turned out to be not so friendly. I wish the communication had been better between the family and the community. If there was an issue with either manager, then you would have an issue with the other manager, as well. The House Manager, [name removed] was amazing. She knew how to care for the residents. This individual taught me things about my loved one. [name removed], was great at communicating between the community, the residents, and the families. [name removed] is no longer at this community from my understanding. I believe the staff issues have been worked out. The start of COVID the owner, and their family moved into the community with their children. I'm not sure how that played out, as my loved one was no longer at this community. There are only 6 residents at this community. COVID made things more difficult for everyone.

The staff that were there were excellent . They were very caring to my mother's care and condition. They were like a family member. I chose this community because of its location and how clean it looked. The food was good and very tasty. The rooms were very clean and it felt like living in our own home. I would recommend this community to other families.

Warm, home feel if your loved one needs prompting and supervision.

I was moved here from another facility and I can tell you it is night and day! The staff at Golden Oaks is so kind, the food is wonderful, it's clean, and always calm and quiet. I'm so glad my family brought me here, wish it happened sooner.

Everyone takes such good care of my mother. This place is just what we needed for her care. I feel very confident leaving my mom in there.

My mother is living here and I am so happy and grateful for the care the staff are giving not only to my mom but other residents. Every staff are polite, courteous and freely answer our questions and more than happy to help you with any concerns. My mom is doing well here because of the living staff here so thank you very, very much.

I only had less than a week before my loved one passed however cleanliness was over Expectations. I had the opportunity to meet and visit with [name removed] which I was Very impressed with her compassion and Her patience. I cannot comment activities or cost due to not Being involved in that aspect. The complete experience surpassed my Expectations.

Also a beautiful community, freshly renovated and well cared for. I greatly appreciate the time [name removed] spent with me. I felt very comfortable here. My father chose not to move which continues to be a bit of a hardship on our family. Definitely worth the tour.

If you are looking for a place that will take care of your loved ones, I highly recommend considering Golden Oaks. Golden Oaks has a very personal, family atmosphere, serve wonderful home-cooked meals, everyone is friendly, professional, and respectful and they always treat my father as one of their own - I love that it has a “real home” feel to it! My father is well cared for and from day one, my father has flourished from the professional care-giving services he receives. He has formed close relationships with his care-givers and the other residents, alleviating much of his loneliness and depression which provides me with a tremendous peace of mind. Everyone is always so helpful and willing to go above and beyond – what a great place!!

Golden Oaks Assisted Living is absolutely beautiful, very clean and smells good, unlike other facilities I've toured. The food is wonderful and the staff actually gives residents options. The owner is just amazing, she is so helpful and knowledgable. She's had years of experience as a caregiver and is a licensed LVN so I'd be very confident leaving my loved ones in her care. I'd highly recommend her facility.

[Removed] is wonderful. She and her staff take such good care of us in her home. We are served gourmet food, better food than anywhere I’ve ever had. The home is beautiful in a quiet neighborhood, the décor it top notch! She is a perfect example of a nurse, she has years of experience in care giving and the medical field. There is no one else like her! I would recommend the home, my care here has been life changing. Being here I feel safe in knowing I’m well taken care of.
