Gerry Care Adult Family Home

I did a tour in July and spoke to both [name removed] and her husband (sorry I can't remember his name) Very nice home, very organized and well laid out. Even though I've just started looking into this option for my mom, Nichole was very helpful with information about their home and services, home care and the process in general. Of the few homes I've viewed so far this is the most "professional" one that was still very homey etc. It's clear they have really thought out the way they manage this home, from staffing levels, potential burnout, layout, amenities etc. They offer many if not all of the services you would find at a larger facility. This home is on the top of my list if/when I have to move my mom.

When we were looking for a home for my mom to live, Gerry Care stood way above the rest. Their home is clean, bright, and above all they make everyone feel like family. My mom’s health and physical abilities have improved so much since she moved there, and she always tells me how she feels truly CARED for. The owners and other workers have shown how much they deeply care for my mom, and I am so grateful for everything they do for her. We feel so blessed to have found Gerry Care!!

My mother ([name removed]) moved to Gerry Care in December of 2022. She was very concerned about moving and had expressed this to me several times. [name removed] had lived on her own for 92 years and afraid of imposing on others. The staff and owners ([name removed]& [name removed]) were so understanding and supportive to my mom. They helped her both mentally and physically to be comfortable from day one. Her anxiety diminished within days and she loved the true compassion these ladies showed her. She told me that it was the best home cooked meals and treats she’d had in years. The staff were very kind and patient people, having to answer tough questions from myself and hospice care. They always went the extra mile to make sure everyone there was comfortable, clean and fed well. When my mother passed, [name removed] and [name removed] helped me through a very difficult time. I will always be grateful for Gerry Care’s gentle support and the love they showed my mom.

My mom has been a resident there from the very beginning and I couldn’t recommend them high enough or say enough good things about them. The owners are kind, loving, generous and the nicest and easiest people to work with including their staff. It has been a godsend since day one of placing my mom there and she couldn’t be happier either. All I can say is they’re the best!

It was extremely difficult to place my Mom in a residential care home. We had looked at other places, but they were dark, cluttered, the people were inactive and it was depressing. When visiting Gerry Care, I was impressed they kept the drapes open to let in the light which makes the environment cheerier. The TV was on and the residents sat in comfy chairs watching together. The home was spotless. The residents and caregivers are caring, friendly, informative and quick to respond to their residents. The bathrooms and bedding are kept clean. Residents are fed well; more times than not eating what they want when they want. The caregivers do not complain about special requests. When Mom passed, they were quick to phone us and give their condolences. I have never regretted taking Mom there. No one wants to complete this task, but [name removed] and [name removed] make the transition so much easier. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I’m a musician, I play at Gerry Care monthly. It’s the nicest facility I’ve ever been in- I wish my in-laws had half as nice a place to live out their lives. The staff is tops and the owners are very conscientious- the home is gorgeous and very desirable!

My mom was "[name removed]" of Gerry Care. Her wonderful caregivers of several years conceived the idea of an adult family home that truly treats residents like family. And made it happen! I have toured the home and found it to be modern, clean, bright and airy. Residents seemed happy, relaxed and well cared for. The place really does feel like a home with regular visits from kids, dogs and even the occasional musician. Highly recommended.

I’ve had the opportunity to know two ladies who spent their last few months at Gerry Care. I’ve come to know the owners, care givers and residents. Their care is personalized to each resident, the meals are homemade, holidays are celebrated, families and friends are welcomed. Both ladies have passed away but are still remembered, thought of and talked about. I still continue to visit as the residents, owners and staff have become my friends!!!

After looking at several adult family homes in the area, we selected Gerry Care for my father-in-law. From the very moment he arrived, he’s felt at home. Gerry Care is a perfect fit! The staff are unparalleled in their approach to creating a home-like atmosphere. Gerry Care provides amazing, compassionate care as well as a loving home for our dad. The communication, professionalism and holistic approach of care is something we appreciate. The residents are lovely to chat with and we look forward to our visits. We feel so blessed to have our dad living at Gerry Care.
