Gentle Family Home is a cozy residential community home in the beautiful coastal town of Port Orchard, Washington. Directly west of Seattle, Port Orchard is located on the Sinclair inlet, and features a quaint downtown waterfront with antique shops, dining, local brews, walking paths, and parks. The home is just a short walk from the McCormick wooded park and its on-site restaurant and bar.
The home offers comfortable private rooms and handicap accessible bathrooms, all in a warm family environment. The community’s caring staff are on-site around the clock to offer a range of support services. Community members receive support with activities of daily living, as well as medication management, diabetic care, incontinence support, and ambulatory aid. Home cooked meals are offered daily, with adjustments for kosher, vegetarian, and other dietary needs.
The home is ideal for memory care, with a computerized monitoring system in place so staff are notified in case of emergencies or wandering residents. The home has comfortable common areas for residents’ enjoyment, both indoor and outdoor.
