I would give them a 5.They take excellent care of him staff very professional and likeable. My cousin [name removed] is real happy doesn't matter what time I visit I never have had anything to complain about. Food is always good. with lots snacks. And he is kept very busy. The only situation we had was a roommate problem they took care of it quickly. I would be happy to recommend to anyone. .It is very nice not to have to worry about him. That is very important.

There is room to walk around outside, and it is secure. This is a good place for wanderers. The staff is excellent, but it's hard to get details without visiting in person. Unless there is trouble, then they will call.
I believe they do a pretty good job on the food, activities and keeping the family informed. I've watched the staff carefully and they are friendly and compassionate. I do believe it is a good value for the services. I would recommend the facility. The only reason I didn't rate it as a pure 5 is that there is a bit of deferred maintenance that could bring it up to date.

We toured Garden Courte Memory Care during our search for a Memory Care facility for our loved one. This facility was quite nice. The cleanliness and friendliness was great. The only reason we didn't choose this facility is because they didn't provide furniture in the resident rooms.
Nice staff- good to work with. The administrator is personable and easy to work with. They care. They had a large Covid outbreak just a few months ago- it is always important to be the advocate for your loved one, no matter how great the facility. They could improve on the meals - just serve fresher foods. The menu was a bit dated, but the older residents seemed happy overall with the choices. It is very very expensive, many lost belongings (sheets, clothes, care items like diapers and wipes).

The cleanliness of the community was something that immediately stood out to us, as well as the quality of the staff team and how many staff members there are with the residents. They are very reactive with any updates and concerns with our loved one, they also have great covid care.

Sometimes I wonder if I chose the right facility. The staff is really good at selling you, but I feel like I'm getting the runaround a little bit, and it's hard to talk to them. However, when there were problems with my loved one, they were on top of it and they handled it superbly. So for active problems, they've been good at handling those. But as far as addressing general questions and concerns, they've not been as responsive. I know my loved one isn't adjusting well, so I don't know if that's the issue, or if it's them. I do like the living quarters, and that's why we chose this facility. The outdoor facilities are very nice, and I feel like they have a lot of activities. The food I've tried was actually pretty good as well. We've just had some communication issues.

We walked into the Garden Courte lobby and right away I felt,”this is where my daddy needs to be” There was a sign that said,”welcome [name removed]!” Along with a little bag full of homemade cookies. It was so thoughtful and i knew that a lot of consideration was put into it We were offered something to drink and went and spoke with [name removed] regarding my Dad. She was thorough, and I instantly felt at ease. She discussed monetary matters and introduced us to the nurse who would do the assessment for care. I really had little to ask because she did such a tremendous job. The apartment was large and the building was like a Garden! With a lot of light streaming in. The people who lived there asked questions and [name removed] was kind and receptive to them. They were listening to salsa music and the male nurse was dancing with a lady and she was enjoying it! They all seemed to be. It was clean and I know that if it were just up to me I’d take dad there tomorrow to visit. Great facility! And wonderful staff!

Garden Courte is beyond our expectations, the entire staff are fantastic! The level of professionalism and "caring shown to all the residents" is awesome. We receive daily updates of activities that Mom attends, which are many and varied. There aren't enough word's describe how pleased we are with Garden Courte.

My husband is beginnng year 5 at Garden Courte. I visit each day, now just to check in on his personal care. I have seen many staff and residents come and go. I work hard to develop personal connections to be the voice for my husband. The nursing staff is friendly and compassionate . The caregiving has lately often staffed with substitutes from the Agency and it is difficult to bind with temporary staff. This is my one concern about care. The dining room is attractive and the food Is wonderful. It is colorful ,serves balanced , varied meals served to the residence resturaunt style. The activity staff is a positive strength of the facility. They plan trip and inhouse activities that enrich the lives of the residence. They have cooking project and have themed snacks and activities during the day and month. There are outside excursions in the facility van plus entertainment is brought in from the outside community. I have enjoyed the family meetings and learning opportunities Garden Courte provides. I have made new friends and find and give support from and to other who are travelng thru this disease . It is a welcoming place to have my loved one. Garden Courts has a several day a week residential Dr who is approachable and knowledgeable about the disease of memory care. This is extremely important to me. He is prompt to address concerns and always follow up on my concerns.

My moms stay was great at Garden Courte. Unfortunately my mother fell while living there and broke her hip. She did not recover from the hip surgery and has since passed away. Garden Courte has wonderful helpers and they have wonderful activities to keep their patrons busy and active.

After living with us for 10 years, my mother's dementia became more of a challenge than we could handle and still give her a quality of life. She has been living at Garden Courte now for 9 months. The staff is always so helpful, kind, and friendly. The facilities are clean and smell good. There is a court yard for being outside that is safe for the residents. Fun and stimulating activities are offered daily. A dining room that seems like a restaurant offers good meals. After a short adjustment period, my mom is doing well and is healthy. People of different degrees of health and memory loss live there and everyone is treated with dignity and respect. Our family is grateful that "A place for mom" recommended Garden Courte to us.

My wife has been here for about 2 months and has already made a number of friends. The structure of the organization and the management is what really helped me decide to move her in. They have 2 separate memory care wings, 1 for those who are a bit more aware and 1 for those who have progressed further. Both wings are extremely active with activities and events that are based on the specific needs of the residents. They have a medical geriatric doctor on staff that visits the facility twice a week to care for the residents, adjust medication, and conduct annual check-ups. The residents can also go out of the facility to see other specialists as their needs arise. My wife has specific dietary needs and the kitchen staff has worked, very effectively, on creating meals that she can eat with specialized items that I bring in for her. The chef is very competent and really accommodating. The staff seems to be very agreeable, at least when I’ve visited. There’s a management team, most of which have been there for multiple years, that oversees the organization. They seem to be very competent in knowing how to run things efficiently. They’ve always been agreeable to my suggestions and have followed up on any issues we’ve had in a timely manner. A negative that I’ve found is that they could improve the cleanliness of their public bathrooms; there’s no toilet paper available frequently and the toilets have overflowed several times, even as far as my wife’s bedroom. It’s been frustrating but I know they’re really trying to keep things running smoothly in that regard. There are also no showers in the bedrooms but rather in the public restroom areas. However, the public restrooms are each individually heated and they attempt to keep them all clean throughout the day. When I first moved her in, I was able to bring all of her furniture so now it doesn’t feel like it’s just a clinical room with a bed. Our overall experience has been good, with the exception of a few hiccups. I would recommend them.

Friendly, clean, active engaging. Lots going on for the residents. Most of the people were out of their rooms participating in activities, or even napping in a chair during a movie. Those in the hallways were happy to see staff and struck up conversations. Not as much time available as I would have liked, so plan to go back with brother and Mom to have lunch, speak with other residents, and get more information about those needing more care and assistance on the other half of the building.

This is a nice community. The staff is caring and friendly. We like the staff and the care that she is receiving. the menu is very good and she seems to like the menu. My mom is happy with the activities that are keeping her busy with the other residents. We would recommend this community for good care for other family members.

I am pleased with the staff at this community and have been really happy with how well they have been paying attention to my loved one and his needs. They are going to be moving him soon to there memory program they have available which I think will be a positive thing for him. He will get more one on one time and have more accommodations made for his needs. I really like that this facility has a locked door policy. It really has given me a peace of mind with my husband being here and I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone.

All of the staff truly care about the residents and are careful to meet all their needs. They are very knowledgeable in being able to handle difficult residents, which is a very important thing. The executive director is a very effective manager as well as caregiver, and has enabled the staff working under her to perform at a high, effective level, which translates into very good care and a very good environment for each resident.

Things are going fine. There were a few odd instances where he had trouble with people, but he is back into his normalcy. The staff has been wonderful. They call me and let me know what is going on and I don't have any complaints at all.
