Fundamental - The Courtyards at Pasadena

My loved one was previously a resident at The Courtyards at Pasadena for rehabilitation. This facility was a nice place, the nurses/aides were wonderful and the therapists were excellent. However, the food was not that great and the cost was very expensive due to being a rehabilitation stay. I would recommend The Courtyards at Pasadena to others.

My husband was sent her for wound care and rehab. I signed him out after 3 hrs. They don't have the right meds to give. Can not do iv meds. Medical wast on floor in his room. They never checked his blood sugar before dinner. The bed is older then me. Chairs had black stains. Nurse never came in only social worker. I have pictures. Outside in back is junky. The social worker was nice but couldn't understand why his surgeon sent him.

They treat you like family there. I really love the place, I can't say anything bad about it there. I wish I could get my clients to go over there, I am a provider myself. I brag about this place, I just love it. This place is awesome. It's beautiful and clean!

They are all very nice and they stay updated with my loved one's needs and they watch over him and make sure he has his medications. They really have a nice staff.

I have told my friends about it that they are going to need it. The patients have to know that you care. They care there. They keep them happy, they are happy. I am really, really happy with it. The nurse assured me all would be okay.

I'm very pleased with it. They're very clean, very nice staff, and they give me the information that I ask for. So I would say they're awesome.

There have been a couple of staff members at Courtyards at Pasadena that have a special place in my heart. The staff has been great throughout the experience, they are amazing. No one has been ugly or had any sort of negative experience. I would absolutely recommend Courtyards at Pasadena to a friend.

It is kept up nice and looks nice. When you push the button no one comes for service and that is important for the patient. No one would come for an hour. That is too long to wait.

It is clean and does not smell. It is hard for my loved one because she is independent.

My loved one is happy with the ladies that take care of her. They are slow on their service. They left her for 15 minutes and she was yelling for someone to help her. It did happen a couple of times.

Some are good. They do not communicate with the patients' families. I finally got the therapist to talk to me yesterday to see if he is making progress. He had been there a week and no one talked to me about it. No one came to give him meds at night like his sleeping pill. They are not good at taking care of the patients. I would not put him back there. I am not satisfied with the whole place.

They are better helping my loved one now. My mom was having trouble getting help when she uses the call light. The staff is really busy and they are not able to do what they are supposed to do for her.

They are really nice and they let me stay with my loved one. The therapist comes in and she smiles when they arrive. Sometimes it takes a while to get help. They are giving food that my mom cannot have. Other than that it is okay. Everybody is nice and some know Spanish and some do not know Spanish. The social worker was going to talk to my mom and she has been busy.

They do everything well. They are very caring and nice. I'm very comfortable with them caring for my loved one. Every time I go in to visit everything has been taken care of. I rarely have asked anything.

I think they're doing really well. I'm pleased so far with everything. Everything I have discussed with them, they've done. They are all very nice. My loved one is pleased with the nursing care. It seems very clean. She is pleased with the food. She was on a diet where they had to chop her food up, she wasn't wild about that. They do whatever you ask them to. I normally communicate with them. They have addressed everything.

Overall, it's better than any other place my loved one has been and the facility is very nice looking. Their rehab therapy is absolutely great! Every day when she's done she's wiped out and that's good. She's making great progress with their help. All the aides and nurses are very kind and friendly. It was just the first couple days that weren't as it should be. They took a while to help her but I spoke to the office. I haven't gotten a whiff of anything that smells, so they're doing a good job with cleaning. I never did get any communication from the office after I signed the papers. Overall, the communication has been good. The meals are not to her taste. If it's not sweet she doesn't want to eat it.

I think they're doing just fine. My loved one seems to be very happy here. Their therapy services are very good. They're working very hard with him. He seems to be so much better than he was even last week and is making great progress. They are very friendly. I haven't seen anything really good or bad about the nurses. He seems to be okay with them. It's a very clean place, it doesn't stink. He said the food is excellent. They've answered all my questions or find someone who can. They don't volunteer any information and you have to ask every question.

They take care of my loved one. There's one attendant who is doing a great job. I would like them to be a bit more timely on nursing. She's say's the meals are average.

I would recommend Courtyards to a friend. The nursing care has been just fine. They are keeping her room clean. I am okay with the meals. So far I have to request and take action when I have a concern. I have to be proactive in communicating.

I am happy with the rehab but I would not recommend Courtyards to a friend because of the wait time. What I don't like is that when you put the light on the staff does not know exactly what you need. That is kind of dangerous because there are times it takes a long time to get help. They are keeping the facility clean. With meals, there is a lot of room for improvement.
