Fundamental - Mira Vista

The facility is beautiful and well kept. The nurses are excellent. The total patient care is excellent to a point. They let the alarms go off too long. There is not enough ice out in the patient areas. The food is awful. There's not enough portions. The idea of the food makes no sense. The communication is not very good.

She loves it here and she says all the nurses are nice! One of the reasons we chose the facility was the cleanliness. It's so clean! Also, she hasn't complained at all about the meals, so that's a plus! The staff have been really good about answering all my questions, and I ask a lot!

I have not heard anything negative at all. They are all very nice to my mom. The nursing is good. It is very clean. The food is good, but like school cafeteria food. I have gotten text messages from them.

The therapy is absolutely great! The nurses seem to be doing a good job. The staff is all equally great, but the respiratory therapist has been especially helpful with my loved one. They were just in her room mopping and cleaning. They do a good job! I have a little issue with the communication so far. No one answers the phone.

They were wonderful and lovely. We really liked everybody. It was a lovely and clean place. They were helpful and caring.

I get almost daily communication. They have done very well in this regard so far!

The experience is great!

They have been pretty good with the care for my loved one's situation. I know he does not have the best attitude, but they are working with him well. Anything we have asked them to do, they have done. So far, I have not seen anything unclean. They have kept his room clean. They have kept him clean, even though he gives them a hard time.

The food is okay.

Generally, it's been really good. It seems to be very clean. The nurses have been pretty straightforward when I ask questions. There has been some problems with getting people to come and take my aunt to her bathroom. Some of them are not really pleasant. There is the occasional person that is a little grumpy.

The therapy is good. The nurses are lovely and caring. The staff seems very knowledgeable. It's clean. The food is nice, but it's the same stuff over and over. It's a nice place, but I have had to be on things. They had to get her on more meds and do tests they did not want to do. I insisted that they get her up and had to get the doctors to help. I have to ask everything.

My loved one gets good therapy. Sometimes when she calls for a nurse, it takes longer than it should for someone to get in there. They have misplaced her clothes. She has seen a doctor one time only. The food and how they do it is an issue. Half the time, she doesn't get what she orders. She is really dissatisfied with it.

The nurses have been pretty good. Everybody has been really friendly. When they come in and when we ask, they give us updates. Overall, it seems to be clean. At first, the floor was dirty and there were ants. The people are pleasant, but they do not tell me where she needs to go to get something done. She is not getting the therapy she should be getting. She has not been really happy with her meals.

Everything is good, though the meals my father receives at times are not hot.

So far, the nurses are doing well. It is very clean.

Things went well.

The business office is friendly and accessible. Some aides are friendly. It depends on who's there, so they get frustrated and don't smile at me. The food is very hit or miss. It is sometimes very good, but sometimes looks spoiled and not edible. There is a lack of compassion. My loved one fell from unresponsive staff. No one responds to the call button. Two times they've claimed it didn't work, and when I'm there, I test the call buttons, and they work. A lot of people there are not caring for people and serving them. There were issues with medication disbursement. No one has spoken to me about her care. Two weeks after arrival, we just met the social worker.

I think the staff are professional and helpful. My loved one does not like the meals. If I inquire, someone will answer me, but they are not proactive with contacting me. They mostly communicate with my loved one.
