I looked at several options and Friends Fellowship Community was our top choice. They have an activities director who is wonderful about planning activities and keeping us updated on what is going on. The facility has exercise, games, and other things to keep the residents active on a daily basis. The staff is excellent. It does seem like they are short-staffed as far as help with dining. It sometimes takes them a while to get everyone into the dining in a timely manner, which sometimes means the food isn't quite as warm by the time the residents get seated. Their food is good, I have eaten there myself a few times. I know a couple of others who have lived or live there and they are all satisfied with the facility as well. I would highly recommend this facility and feel like it is the best place.... Read more

They've been really good for my mom. The best thing is that we know she's set for life. Now that she was accepted, she can stay there through all levels of care as needed down the road. Right now she's in independent living, and they have all kinds of different housing options. Some are like houses, with three bedrooms, a kitchen, and a garage. Some of the apartments have small kitchenettes, others don't. My mom has just has a microwave and a small refrigerator. She likes the food they prepare. And they have lots of activities. She's always going somewhere and doing something.

The attention given to the residents is very good and the staff are helpful all of the time. The facility is very upbeat and has a nice community area for the residents to gather. They have a big bird cage with colorful finches in the community room that my mom seems to enjoy looking at. The food lacks variety and only has one menu option offered at each meal but my mom doesn't seem to complain about it. Overall, from my point of view, my experience at Friends Fellowship Community has been good.

My dad is thriving here! He is enjoying the activities like boxing, swimming, and exercising. The community is a very clean facility. The food is nice and the people are nice too. The staff help my dad make his appointments and they are very nice. The only improvement should be with the internet and cellular connection within the main building. Otherwise it is an absolute wonderful community.
