Fremont Hills

Everyone was pretty attentive for the most part at first. Mom was only in the facility for 2 weeks before transferring to hospital for her medical condition. She went back to your facility on Hospice care. She was taken care of very well by Hospice but in between their care, your facility wasn’t as attentive as we wanted until we spoke to the director and then after that was excellent. All in all, I would recommend other people to your facility, and I, myself, GOD FORBID, needing an assisted living, would love to stay there. Thank you

They smile to your face and treat your loved ones like [profanity removed] once they're in. Not to mention charged us over [removed]k after we left and did not give a reason why, they just took it out from my mother's account. They are also thieves I strongly recommend that everyone look elsewhere

Communication between different departments is lacking and inconsistent. Communication among care team is poor. Short staffing seems to be an issue. New care team personnel don't seem to be provided any direction or shadowing of how care is managed for residents. Communication from care team to residents and/or family is inconsistent & lacking. Med changes seem to cause confusion with staff and new medication dosage or change might not occur if resident or resident family is not present during medication delivery.

We are very happy with Fremont Hills! I would say that Fremont Hills is a great assisted living place and that I would recommend it. We picked this community because;1) friendly caring staff 2) beautiful, clean place 3) good food 4) reliable 5) honest 6) well managed place.

Fremont Hills is like a boutique hotel. Very well designed and accessible. My Dad's particular unit is very nice and roomy. He has a walk in seated shower stall and a separate living room and separate bedroom. The kitchenette is roomy with lots of cabinets for storage. Microwave and Fridge, too. No stove to start any fires. Housekeeping comes once a week and they are very thorough. My Dad gets along with everyone and is a gentleman to each of them. They tell me this when I go visit. I will say that the parking is limited in the back of the property at anytime of the day or night. The meals are made and cooked according to dietary needs for the residents. Meaning; they taste bland to us regular visitors, but are perfect for the residents. My dad loves the food, but I personally prefer not to eat their food because it's not tasty enough for me. But this is ok. They only provide all 3 square meals for the residents, not for us visitors. And if we choose to order food, we have to pay for it or have it charged to the room. Also, a resident can have their food delivered to their room if they choose (for a small fee). The staff is wonderful. They know each of the residents by name and I find this extremely telling of how invested the staff is in their individual care for each resident. We are extremely happy with Fremont Hills. They are extremely attentive.

I would tell others looking that they say what you want to hear to get you in and then they do whatever they want. They really need to improve on their professionalism.

The staff members at Fremont Hills community are amazing, they are ALL friendly and helpful including the upper management. It's super clean too. We have no complaints whatsoever based on the experience we have had so far.

I would say that everyone of my family and friends highly approve of this location for our loved one. We picked this community because of the staff, setting,location and small patient population.

I was asked to review Fremont hills a while ago and I’m just getting around to it. This place is convenient ly located in the middle of the Bay Area. It’s super clean and has modern decor. My family member has thrived in their experience at Fremont hills. She loves the food, especially the soups . Overall I’m impressed.

Fremont Hills is the perfect place for my brother! He is very happy there and well cared for. We picked this community because of proximity to a family member.

Beautiful community. Very clean and well organized. Great location that is just a few minutes away from downtown Fremont. Outstanding staff. And there is a wonderful selection of living choices. Overall perfect community for loved one’s.

I would recommend it to others however it all depending on their care needs.They have Chinese speaking residents and staff. The amenities and services offered by far was the best value for us. My dad is doing well under their care.

Fremont Hills is a great community that truly loves and care for its residents, families and employees. The food is amazing, activities are engaging and catered to resident’s preferences. The leadership team is responsive and knowledgeable.

My mother-in-law loves it at Fremont Hills. She is very happy, and doesn't want to miss out on any of the activities that they have. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They know myself and husband by name.

If you’re looking for peace of mind, this is the place to bring your loved ones. The care team are kind hearted and take good care of the residents. All the residents are well cared for, their clothes are kept clean and washed and beds are made daily. Residents always look neat and tidy. My husband, who lives in the memory care neighborhood, brags about the food that is served. He says it’s the best he’s ever had. There are a lot of activities to keep them busy my husband loves the music acts, you’ll find him singing and whistling along. I highly recommend Fremont Hills.

They do well in communication if an issue(s) arises with my loved one. COVID communications as well has been very good on a weekly basis, sometimes within a week. They did well to give us a tour of their place, and answer any questions. They had good incentives for moving in at the time which helped to afford the cost of living there. They provide transportation to local Doctor's appointments. Also, the facility is super clean, and the activities for interaction was great for my loved one.

They could improve on the meals they are serving to the residents - we have dietary restrictions so we are not able to eat a lot of the meals. There is no call button for the residents so if you need something you have to go look and find staff for assistance. Billing has had some issues with communication and organization.

Nice welcoming environment, good service for assisted living residents, low monthly cost. More assistance for non-English speaking residents would be nice. The communication with the family was handled through timely phone calls and emails, such as COVID infection, quarantine, vaccine, etc.
