This community was our second choice. It reminds me of a really nice resort. They have an outdoor garden area for the memory care residents. They have lap pools. This community as well as some of the activities seem to be geared towards independent living. They have five levels of care and there is a waiting list to move into the different levels. The apartments were not as nice as at the community we chose.

There were quite a few things that we liked about Folkstone. Location was one. And they are Presbyterian, so they cast off that. Which is nice for us. There is also a neat sky-walk that goes over to a restaurant and small grocery store, that you can get little items you need from. We liked that it starts as independent and you are able to stay if things get worse. The staff was friendly. And it was clean and Beautiful. We are on a wait list for the Future.
