I think they need to give their housekeeping staff more time per apartment to do the cleaning. The gals do the best they can with the allotted time but think they'd like to do more through Deep cleaning if they weren't so rushed. Staff is friendly but they are short staffed in some areas which sometimes shows as frustration on their part, but I understand. The care services started as a 3 but I would move up to a 4 now. The safety portion, morning check in button did not work the 1st few months and staff did not check on Mom to verify she was ok. Residents are to check in each day by a set time, if they don't staff should be contacting them to verify there isn't a problem... that wasn't happening. That has since been fixed and they are now following thru. The emergency alert worked last week when we needed it, and security arrived in a timely manner and contacted 911. Most meals I've had are really good with a nice amount of choices. I've heard some Residents complain but don't believe they are all valid. Nice enough list of things to do, if the Resident is willing to participate. Most activities seem resident lead, not provided by the staff. I know some Residents struggling with the rising cost, apparently every lease renewal has a cost increase. They are one of the lowest cost facilities though. One thing I don't like or agree with is the outlandish price they charge to have staff help with simple tasks around the apartment. Not all Residents are capable to do some tasks like hang pictures, move heavy items and such... nor do they have family local to assist them. To have staff/maintenance assist is something like [fee removed] minimum. I think it should be included. Also maintenance is slow to respond to even emergency calls. Moms apartment had a very large leak coming from the ceiling, with the possibility of doing damage to flooring and they didn't not respond for 3 or 4 days. We would have been charged for the damage that their slow response caused but I was able to assist in keeping damage from occurring. I've heard that some maintenance requests have never even been addressed. Mom is happy living there and plans to stay until health no longer allows the independence she can maintain at this time.

I love being in the community. I have friendly people y try o talk with. Lots of activities. I joined with the poker club. Getting ready to get more involved in more activities. Love the office staff. Friendly and very knowledgeable. I really like the security here. They are friendly and quick to the rescue. I love the laundry facility. And I love when I return from Bible Study at night, the campus is well lite, and I’m not afraid. But if I was, security would escort me to apartment.

Everything from start to move in was a breeze at Fellowship Square. My twin sister and her husband were not happy where they were living and needed to move. The staff were all so kind and courteous and very knowledgeable. We set up a tour and they're was no looking back. Fellowship Square was able to get them what they needed at a price they could afford. The dining room and menu are exceptional. I need to go have lunch there sometime. The place is VERY clean throughout (no weird smells). The Community Room is cleaning with lots of books, puzzles and games and they play Bingo they're three times a week! The landscaping is well kept...beautiful in the spring with all the flowers. And the people there are all so nice! My sister and he husband have a larger, nicer, cleaner place to live with awesome staff for less money. That's a WIN!

We moved them out after a year...two main issues. While it was a safe place semi reasonably maintained (although maintenance requested were basically ignored), the access to, quality of, and service for food was horrific for the cost. The [name removed] /month in food made it very cost prohibitive as the availability, lack of appropriate dietary options and overall quality/service was so bad they were still spending [name removed] month on groceries. 2nd. The population was very 'old' for independent and there were very few activities and those that were available were boring & not well attended. While they got to like their neighbors.. the lack of an active social life was a major factor & aging them fast.

So far I have had a good experience. My mom is very private and it takes her a while to feel ok opening up. Maybe a little more follow up or greeting opportunities so she could meet more people. She had a few negative interactions with the first few people she came into contact with in the dining room. Tenants not employees so its taking her a while to venture out. She is beginning to be more independent so I am encouraged things will continue to improve. She seems to enjoy it there. I am happy with what the facility offers to encouraged independence.

I recently got my phone number added to receive their text updates, which has been helpful since my mom doesn't have a cell phone. I think it might be new since she moved in because it was not mentioned to me before. I was dining there with my mom and the Director introduced herself to us and added my number for text updates. They closed down the dining room closest to my mom's building, which is somewhat inconvenient but it does force her to walk farther which is good exercise. The food is not great in my opinion, but I'm happy she can get a well balanced meal every day. I would recommend this facility. The staff is very friendly and helpful, my mom had a lot of nice residents welcome her there and it's affordable for her limited income.
