Community just completed new renovations, looks great and feels like a real friendly caring community.

I did a walk through of this community. I could tell just from walking through the community it was not the one for me. The layout is very wide, and the there a little houses around the property. It is a nice community, but not the right fit for me.

Nice place to live. A full service community for my mom.

What a refreshing place, that really cares about their residents.

Feels Like Home, feels like home. I think they will try to assist all types of cases, but sometimes this isn't possible, but at the end of the day these are caring people who will try to work with families and their loved ones in a very difficult time.

This is a beautiful place, its a independent living facility, not an assisted living, They are full service community so my mom was able to feel comfortable and socialize with others. Staff was friendly.

Went for a tour, place was clean, smelled good, and just like the name it felt like home. I moved by mom in 2 months ago and the family is very happy.

Please DONT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!! My sister with Alzheimer's was transferred there from harbor view what a big mistake!!! My niece and I went there because it was recommended by harbor view and it was just a con to get and keep the deposit! Of 500.00 dollars! They knew my sister would walk away but Debrl the manager and let her get out and didn't even know she was out until a ambulance brought her back because they were looking for places she might have come from. The next day after only being there 6 days they said she had to go and provided the name of a private home of a friend of hers as a place for my sister. They gave back the 12 hundred dollars but kept the deposit. Before we even agreed to let my sister be there she assured me that they could Handel her and had people like her before. Now six days later they haven't been giving my sister her meds right and have let her get out one time naked and the other time they didn't lock the doors at eight like they said they would, so my sister got out and the ambulance found he because she walked up to it parked by some apartments. I don't appreciate th just taking her so they can get the 500 dollar deposit them calling the Mobil crisis unit to come and get her because they couldn't bother to give her the meds right. Shame on them Debral admitted to me that she red the report on Martha and knew what she was dealing with before she ever went and got my sister. They are a racket not care givers. It's all about getting the money not caring for her oh and as a meal they only offer a ensure drink or a meal not both if they ate hungry. So hard to see my sister hungry because she accepted a ensure.

Please. If you love your loved ones, don't let them live here. 3393 Kirby is the address. Looks and smells like a dirty run down old hotel. The smell urine and feces rings through the building. They are con artists. They will give you the run around. There is no "corporate office". I was able to sign papers without proof of me having power to do so. They said that they don't dispense meds but will if you pay extra. It's a dirty money greedy hole. Ren.. and Deb.. won't return calls concerning complaints. Just don't do business with these people.

To the prior poster, I send my condolences on the loss of your Mother. I am looking for a place for my Dad and came to this site to see if there was any information. I initially thought it would be a good place for him, but a few things have taken place to make me question if he should be moving here. All of the literature and even this site says it is assisted living, but when I inquired I was told it is not. If there is no onsite medical personnel or health care and no medical professionals, why would they disperse medicine? I was also advised the facility is not for assisted living. I'm going to do more research to see what type of reviews, compliments, and or complaints this facility gets before making a final decision regarding my Dad. The people seemed friendly, but I want a safe and secure place for my Dad.

Putting my mom here was the worse mistake of my life. For the 1st 6 months it was great. Then they moved facilities without my permission or even a warning. There she became bedridden since they put her in a small room,upstairs, and she couldn't be moved downstairs. She had dementia. She got staff infections all over her skin. In the next 6 months they had her in hospice, put her on meds I didn't agree with since 2 of the drugs are clearly listed as a contraindications of her diagnoses. I expressed this to the "health care professionals" and they said it would be ok. Within months my mom passed away. I never heard from Delbra or any other so called HC workers since before her death. I never got her personal items back. The price is ok, but not worth the suffering my family has been through due to their incompetence. Best of luck finding a place for your love ones.

I love the fact that they have hands on activities and that the people are really friendly. The outside commons area is nice, and the food is good. They do have a beautician onsite but she doesn’t know how to cut African American hair.

Have a book club & a bible study. Exercise room & chapel. TH Catholic mass. Game room w/prizes. Movie night. Computer sites. Elevator, 131 apts. Clean as a whistle; no bad smells. Beauty shop. Art studio. All apts have patio and 2BR have 2 BA. Country Store. Kitchenettes. Will drop 2nd person fee for meal plan. Dr. day is TU/TH before 2. Have van to take them places.

This one was really awesome! We looked at a 2-bedroom furnished, then a 2-bedroom unfurnished. Then we looked at the 2-bedroom cottage. She really liked the cottage, but has drawbacks about that one...having to go outside to the dining room during bad weather and the distance of it to the main building.

rate #1 for the cottages they are so nice. looks like my new home, i really enjoyed my visit it was wonderful. thank you very much for your help!!!!!

This was one of my favorites and he is staying there for two night to see if he like the facility. I love the facility, the staff, the residents, the amenities, the one bedroom apartments and the overall experience has been wonderful.
