My loved one shared a room and it was a nicer community. They allowed me to see my loved one, during the pandemic.... Read more

A Place for Mom has scored Falls Run Nursing And Rehabilitation with 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score based on 1 review in the last 2 years. Over all time, Falls Run Nursing And Rehabilitation has 3 reviews with an average "overall experience" of 2.5 out of 5.
Falls Run failed my dad miserably the last week he was at their facility for rehab. He started not feeling well. COVID was in the building; however, he tested negative. The nurses, social services, and staff assured me the doctor on staff was well aware of his symptoms and they were trying to determine what was wrong..why his white blood cell count was high, he was sniffling, he was not able to eat much, he was coughing, his right arm was sore and he could not lift it. Nothing figured out yet he was discharged. He was rushed to the hospital within 18 hrs of discharge and died within a week..due to MRSA blood infection, raging urinary tract infection, aspiration, hypoxic respiratory failure. He would have died within 24 hours of discharge if he had not agreed to ventilator intervention in the ER. I truly believe the only goal for Falls Run Nursing and Rehab was to discharge my dad rather than sending him to the hospital which would have gone against a rating matrix for Falls Run.

I thought this place was terrible, there was just all kinds of problems. Nobody wanted to talk to ya, explain anything to ya, nobody made eye contact with ya because they didn't want to talk to you. I'd say the cleanliness was okay but the communication was the biggest problem I had with it.

A Place for Mom has scored Falls Run Nursing And Rehabilitation 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
