They did a great job managing all the questions and also figuring out the right funding algorithm for my loved one to be there. They made it very simple to move in. And I gave them some challenges. My mother loves it now. She was very against it before moving in, and she had a really difficult time adjusting. But now she's very interested and enjoying herself. Shel likes the layout of her apartment, and she has a patio she enjoys. She also likes the large bathrooms. They come and clean on Thursdays, and she thinks that's amazing . At 100 yrs old my mom entered the Elderwood Senior apt. I never would have thought she would be happy after leaving her home of 60yrs. I was pleasantly surprised as she made friends, attended activities including physical fitness classes twice a week. She could get her hair done every week, attend church on Sundays, enjoy breakfast and supper with her friends nightly. Her apartment was hers. The furniture, pictures on the wall, and all the memories collected over a century. The staff was friendly but more importantly, they were compassionate. When the Lord took mom at 101 [date removed] , the staff was wonderful. They were visibly effected and I noticed. Thank you Elderwood Wheatfield. God Bless you!

My mom was really not interested in moving from her home when we first went Elderwood for a tour. After seeing the patio homes and talking with some of the residents, she told me to sign her up before we left the parking lot. She’s very happy there.

Elderwood Residences at Wheatfield is a beautiful and well-maintained community. My dad has moved from a villa to an apartment, which I think will suit his needs better. The staff is very friendly and caring, they are very attentive to his care needs. The meals they provide are very good, he really likes the food that they serve. They have get-togethers, they recently had a 4th of July celebration that he enjoyed. They offer activities and transportation for him to go into town and other excursions. The outside landscaping is very nice and they provide seating for the residents to enjoy the fresh air. I would highly recommend Elderwood Residences to friends and family.

We went this community because on the tour we got a personal and different feeling, we did not feel like it was all business. They are fantastic and great place for my dad. As far as what I am told, he is still settling in. He is meeting a couple people and the staff take him to medical appointments. He is coming around and it is the best for him.

This community is nice and very clean. I am not sure if he will participate in the activities . The food seems to be good and he is enjoying the meals. The staff is nice and friendly and patient. i would recommend this community for nice care for a love one.
