Finding an adult family home for my father was stressful. However, when we found Elderly Home Care, my brother and I knew this was the right place for our father. We found the staff to be very attentive and professional. The home was always very tidy and smelled clean (unlike skilled nursing facilities). But most of all, our father was and felt safe (and enjoyed the home cooked meals). We appreciated the open communication and personal touch (owner [name removed] visited our father in the hospital prior to him moving in to connect and brought him a little treat). These small, but impactful gestures meant a lot to us. Elderly Home Care gave our father a place to socialize in an environment that felt similar to home. We highly recommend.

My mother was a resident at Elderly Home Care for almost 4 years before passing due to Alzheimers. I had a great deal of anxiety concerning what kind of home to best choose for my mother so she would be happy and well cared for while still being able to afford it on my limited resources. I spent a couple months looking at and interviewing different kinds of care facilities and eventually decided on Elderly Home Care. It was a great choice. The owner, [name removed], and her crew are amazing with the adults under their care. The home is suited for around six to seven residents and provided a better transition for my mother, coming from her own home environment, as opposed to going into a larger care facility that felt more like a corporate nursing facility. It is easy to navigate for limited mobility residents, has a covered back porch for getting outdoors, and is meticulously maintained. I searched for an adult home for my friend [name removed]with some trepidation. He had always been a fiercely independent person, refusing any kind of assistance even though crippled by polio as a boy. Then he had a stroke. Assisted living was the only option. After considering several adult homes I chose Elderly Home Care for many reasons. It is a beautiful residence that is sparkling clean. It has nice rooms throughout and a covered deck that’s great for comfortable outdoor excursions. But most importantly, I chose EHC because it is obviously very well managed. I visited with [name removed]many times over the five months that he lived here. I always left with a confident feeling that he was in good hands. [name removed]often mentioned how quiet and peaceful it was here. He liked to sit on the deck and watch contented rabbits munch buttercups in the lawn. When [name removed]breathed his last I felt most grateful to God that such a defiant character was able to spend his last days in such a wonderful, caring place.

I am so glad we moved my ninety-six-year-old dad to Elderly Home Care in Bothell a year ago. The staff are caring and professional, and the higher ratio of caregiver to patient means that he gets the care he needs around the clock. He is much happier than he was at his previous assisted living facility, and I feel relieved that he's in such good hands. The other place where he lived previously had a lot of extras, and looked like a five-star hotel, but as his health declined, he spent more and more time alone in his apartment, not participating in activities. We began to realize that the overly busy environment was too much for him as his memory declined. The intimate group home environment provided by Elderly Home Care is a much better fit.

My mom has been lucky enough to be at Elderly Home Care for over two years and I have nothing but good things to say about Veronica, the staff, and facility. From day one they have made my mom feel comfortable, safe and attentive to her needs. I appreciate the open communication, cleanliness and structure that Veronica and her staff bring to Elderly Home Care. Whether it be dancing to music or birthday celebrations it is reassuring to know my mom is in good hands. I am truly thankful Elderly Home Care has given my mom a place to call home.

The staff at Elderly Home Care are incredibly kind & gentle with Mom. They are attentive to her needs as well as provide an environment that feels like home. We are given regular updates & photos, as well as have an open line of communication regarding Mom, which allows us to be better involved in her daily life. Clean & cozy, mom is in good hands.
