Love the personalized small community culture at Centennial

My mother has been at Centennial house for 2 1/2 years including this past year during the Covid pandemic. The staff is personal and helpful. It amazes me that they often refer to my sister and I by name when we visit my mom. Activities are cheery events that my mom looks forward to, especially hymn and old music sing alongside...thank you [name removed]! And Bingo particularly with Viking guests and prizes! Of course it’s been difficult through the pandemic with limited contact but despite the challenges the staff has remained up beat and hard working to take care of the residents. centennial’s Covid record is excellent. I’m so happy that we chose Centennial house for my mother’s residence. When you walk in the door, observe the settings, see resident rooms and special features you will understand the culture. My moms place is like a beautiful little apartment full of her personal things. Be sure to check out Centennial house if you are looking for a residence for a loved one.... Read more

they are amazing!

We were only there for 42 hours before mom passed away. She was the first person to stay there to just stay for hospice without being a regular resident, and they were super awesome. Brett is beyond compassionate and Kristy was extremely kind and helpful.

Feels like home!

We were very impressed from the moment we walked in the front door. Beautifully decorated with a warm & homey country atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. It is one level and not as large and imposing as some of the newer assisted living places. Mom seems to be adjusting well to her new home, and we couldn't be happier!

Pleased with the care

Overall I think they do a great job here, my loved one seems very happy. The staff are all very friendly, and keep the place looking nice and clean. One thing I like in particular about this location is the layout. It's set up in a pod system where certain areas have certain caregivers, which means the residents get more individual attention and can be supervised more closely.

Different kind of layout in pods. Did not like that there was no appliances in the rooms and they were very small rooms. This is more like a nursing home that requires all meals to be prepared by staff. People were very friendly and the layout was nice, but not what I would consider assisted living.
