My Grandma lived here for about 18 months. She lived it here and we lived it too. She was well taken care of, fed great meals, kept very clean etc. when they found out she liked chair exercise they saw to it to buy chair exercise dvd's and she did one every morning. They catered to her. The workers are not nurses, and they are up front about that. They are caregivers who showed genuine care. They bought her the cookies she liked, always looked out for her etc. The negative reviews for this place are so misleading. I knew one lady who didn't like it in 18 months. Her husband had already been kicked out of 2 places and she had lawsuits against them. She wanted to live here herself because if her husband made a noise and wasn't attended to immediately she would yell at the workers. Her husband was violent. She was asked to leave.... Read more

was there when the families of those who posted positive remarks. They never stayed more than 15 minutes to 2 hours at the most. They made big deal of holidays. Huge turnover of caregivers. When dealing with the owner he was self entitled and found many excuses to skirt the issue. It never improved. My loved one improved when she left. I wish I would have realized the farce in this place sooner. Menu was false, brochure is false. No activities or exercises of any form. No stimulation or smiles to residents. Only in front of other families. Not a good place. It is only about $$$$. No genuine real love or caring. It is just a job. Caregivers are Filipino and can't get other jobs here in the US. They sleep in closets and couches. No experience. There was a female cook and she just did not show up one day. She was great with the residents. Another female quit. Men do all the bathing and feeding and cleaning. Not a positive place.

There are no activities ever. They don't speak English. The caregivers try but are treated badly by the Owner. The menu is false. The brochure is false. They are NOT trained in any capacity for Alzheimer's/Dementia. They lied to me about my loved one's care. They have no experience and get it when they arrive from the Philippines. Huge turnover. Underlying tension. They keep people clean and want those that can't speak, walk, or communicate. They make fun of the residents in their language when they eat. Caregivers quit, never fired. Those that are immobile and can't speak are cleaned and fed. But there is no real love and compassion. My loved one digressed and wanted to die. They put on a farce in front of the families. They are not what they seem to be. They should not have a license. It is all about the $$$$$. Families would come 15 minutes to 2 hours. But I would stay 5 hours or more, so I saw what was going on. Caregivers would watch TV in the room of another resident. I spoke to the owner and he just gave me lip service and then tried to up my rent by $300.00 per month!!!!!! I removed my loved one and there is a huge difference. The progress and wanting to live is back.

My mom and dad lived here from 9/2014 through 4/2016. They moved here after living in an assisted living facility for 5 years, as they needed more one-on-one care. This place is exceptionally clean. The food is very good. The owner is very involved and the safety and security of his residents is his highest concern. The communication is very good, and any time I had a concern he met with me and we came to a reasonable resolution. There is a true sense of caring from the staff and they are very good at bathing, cleaning, toileting, and dressing the residents. Both of my parents had been on hospice toward the end of their stay at Eagle Glen Care Home, and they both recently passed within two months of each other due to age-related natural causes. The staff helped to create a loving environment for them and for my sister and I as we spent our last days with them. It made a difficult situation much easier to endure. The owner and some of the staff even attended the services for my parents, which shows true care and love for them. The only area where there could be a little improvement would be more staff-led activities with the residents, depending on their abilities and alertness levels. But overall, I would highly recommend this home and am grateful that my parents were taken care of so well during this last stage of their life.

We worked with Eagle Glen for 20 months with our parents living there, until both of them passed away. The cleanliness is outstanding and the layout of the home is absolutely perfect for a board-and-care. I could not design a better layout myself. Plenty of room for everyone. The neighborhood is beautiful, upscale and quiet. The caregivers treat the residents with more than merely caring and respect. They treat them like they are their own family, with tenderness and sensitivity. The clients are fed well and also enjoy treats. They are kept amazingly clean and comfortable. The owner is very willing to adapt to the client's individual needs. The visitors I have brought have all raved how beautiful this facility is compared to others. The only possible drawback is that there are not as many socially integrating activities for the residents as compared to larger facilities. However, the purpose of a board-and-care is to provide intimate assistance to higher-need individuals who are no longer able to enjoy sophisticated social activities seen at assisted living places. The care here is either 1-1 or 2-1, and falls are almost non-existent due to the very close supervision. Both of our parents had severe dementia, and the owner made sure that the caregivers were continually trained as their challenging needs progressed, working with all doctors and later with the hospice personnel. We are grateful to have had this lovely place take such great care of our parents in their final months of life.

No knowledge of Alzheimer's/Dementia nor trained in taking care of the patient. Lazy caregivers. No smiles. Only in front of visitors. Visited facility a few times at unexpected times. Layout was not very good. No activities per the owner. It appeared they only want patients that cannot speak or are bedridden.
