Wonderful care. Always ready to assist. Always smells clean. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The quality of the care services has been excellent. I could not do what they do. Great food, may need more vegetables and fruits at times. It is expensive, however they give much more hands on care than other places. I was n a emergency situation with my father who has dementia and had became very violent towards me. I needed to place him asap . This is the only place that returned my calls. That being said . Dad never stayed one night there . It's very pricey. He was never released from the hospital. He could never afford to pay what they wanted a month. He got a check back for [removed] I paid over [removed]!!!! To bad for you !!!! You signed a contract so do not go there unless you are 100 % sure !!! I think it was pretty crappy of them not give some money back more than [removed] .. They do not care..

We have used Dominion Senior Living of Richmond twice now, for respite care for my loved one. This facility is a great place and is always clean. It is expensive, as they all are, but the care is great. The staff is so good, sweet and very kind. I would recommend Dominion Senior Living of Richmond to others.

The community was among on the lower end of pricing of the communities we looked at. This has been a good experience for the family and our loved one. The staff communication with the family is wonderful! They keep us updated on any concerns or changes about our loved one. The staff are responsive to our questions as well. Some of the activities offered include group exercises, church services, arts and crafts, and more for the residents to participate in.

We chose Dominion Senior Living of Richmond because they just had more to offer for mom. The only issue I have had is her getting her medications in a timely manner, the pharmacy is slow to get things in. The staff have been very courteous. Other than the medication issue it has been a good experience and I would recommend them to others.

My wife and I toured the community last week and were very impressed. The executive director took over an hour with us and was genuinely interested in helping us. We plan to secure our two bedroom apartment tomorrow!

A Place for Mom has scored Dominion Senior Living of Richmond 8.9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
