I would highly recommend Dominion Senior Living at Patrick Square to others. The staff bent over backwards to help us out since I was out of town. Kind and loving staff. Housekeeping does a great job. The food is balanced and good quality, but a little bland. I would suggest maybe a little more variety, like Mexican or Chinese inspired food. Many of the activities were religious based and my loved one is Hindu. We don't knock that since they advertise themselves as a Christian based facility. They were overall exceptional.... Read more

Dominion was so easy to work with. Made the process of moving in smooth. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nurses seemed knowledgeable and worked with my sister's doctors well. The only negative I would mention was that their physical therapy was not covered by my sister's insurance which was an extra cost we were not aware of when we moved her in. I guess we should have asked but didn't

I have had family members in a number of facilities, and by far, this outshines all. Especially for the nights, weekends and holidays. Those caregivers are excellent. There are so many ++: Communication, Individual compassion for each person. No one is left propped up alone. Staff is no socializing on their phones. Their focus is dedicated to the people. The medical staff is aligned with the medical facility one building over. Doctors come to Dominion to see patients. My sister had to have he foot xray taken. They brought the mobile machine to her room. Convenience and then as she transferred to palliative care they helped every step of the way. And during her hospice it couldn't have been better managed. Peace of mind. From the coordination of enrolling thru her passing I was never alone. They were supporting my sister and I till her passing. I have recommended then to a number of people. Also I had access 24x7

I kept telling them I wanted to wash [name removed] linens and clothes myself but they often took them away and I had to retrieve them . I even put signs up . But they were ignored often. They were very helpful in many other ways, though . I would highly recommend Dominion. However, Dr. [name removed]was not at all helpful. . Sorry . He didn't seem to know much about Parkinsons Disease but my time with him was limited. The CNA's were fabulous . Very caring . They sent me a prompt refund after [name removed] died which I appreciated .

The overall experience, the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff all receive 5+++ stars. My sister has not been walking even with a walker in months. Since arriving to Dominion Clemson 2 months of PT she is back walking with assistance using a walker. The Prism Health care center is in the complex and they come in to Dominion. If she needs to be seen they transport. She is overwhelmed with food on her plate and was not eating. Here I asked them to serve protein first on one plate then vegetables followed by starch, carbs and then dessert. They supported me and she is back to a healthy weight. Staff, physicians all go over an above for everyone even during evening and weekends.

The level of care she has gotten has been excellent. They are kind and attentive. She has also gotten occupation therapy and physical therapy here. They have been fabulous, they go above and beyond and pay attention to detail. They are very communicative with me as well. I am from out of state and we had to do this last minute, they were so helpful and provided her a bed and chair and we really appreciate them. I would highly recommend Dominion Senior Living at Patrick Square to others looking.

Response from Dominion Senior Living at Patrick Square
November 4, 2022Thank you for your positive review!
What really sold Dominion Senior Living for us first off was the condition of the living, it is excellent and second off on our tour the staff were just excellent to engage with. The activities go on frequently during the week - they live near a university so they get to engage with some of the sport teams, they play bingo, they have parties and church services. Our loved one is very particular with the meals and she is eating well, so far we have heard no complaints. We thought the price was okay but they have now raised the price and will eventually introduce a tiered system which could make the pricing go up higher. However we would recommend this community to other families

Even though our loved one was only there for two months, he received excellent care. We had hospice towards then end and they worked so well with him. The community was very clean and well kept. Our loved one could choose between options when it came to the meals, and overall the dining service was good.
