My mother lived in Desire to Live for 7 years. She love it! She got up every morning to feed and water the chickens. She gathered the eggs also. She loved those chickens. They let her run the chicken house... I seen other clients planting and watering flowers. While others watched TV or lounge around. It was clear that Desire to Live was their home. The owner and her staff really enjoyed being with the ladies. They take them to play’s, restaurant’s, and even on short vacations. San Antonio was the last place for my mom. The families are also invited to participate.. WoW! When my mother needed hospice care, she had a private room with 24 nurses. We were able to stay all night with her. The staff was wonderful. They placed recliners, blankets and even a small refrigerator in the room. I will never forget what was done for my mother! Thank you [name removed], [name removed], and the rest of your wonderful team.!
