Delly's Care Home II

My family was very happy with the care my mother received at Delly’s Care Home. My mother had a rough time initially with her transition to a care home setting but eventually settled in because of the personal care and attention Delly and her staff provided. Her needs were met with kindness, caring, and compassion. I was kept updated about Mom by Delly on a regular basis. The facility always felt like a home when I visited, often with the smell of food cooking, and residents watching TV in the living room, well taken care of. I work as an RN and I give Delly and her staff at Delly’s Care Home a solid 5 star rating.

Delly took and her team took amazing care of mother for approximately 10 years. Mother was always clean and well groomed. They provided fresh vegetables and fruits with home cooked meals. When we visited my mom wether planned or unannounced Delly’s care home was always clean and fresh. Mom was treated as if her own family was caring for her.

I am very pleased with the care my mom is getting at Delly's Care Home II. When my husband got sick and had to be hospitalized, Delly took my mom to her doctor's appointment for me. My mom is doing great and seems happy at Delly's. Workers are friendly and helpful.

House was in poor repair and looked shoddy. Three ladies looked clean and groomed. Rooms were sparse and paint on the walls was all scraped up. Bare nails and screws stuck out. Alarm on patio door was held on with clear tape. Back patio and yard were not inviting. Menu had no variety. Same menu for each week and each month. Delly said there were 2 caregivers but I only saw 1. They were family (her niece and sister in law) and lived there but I did not see any extra living space for them there. She said someone stayed in the living room at night. When asked about staff training, she said she trained them herself. Activities were t.v., reading, puzzles, chatting, singing and walking outside.
