I really don't have any positive comments to say about the facility. I guess if there is an issue they try to address it promptly They need to hire more competent employees, better food, more staff, and more activities for residents.

Be cautious and keep an eye on the bill. The director is asking for more money than the daily rate for the time she has been there. We talked to him and his only concern is the money he says we owe. But ignored our questions about lack of care. When we visit, our loved one could not even get a napkin with her meal. Her grooming has not been kept up. [name removed] ignored our questions about why we were not informed of several changes, of price increases, and of inability to meet all our loved ones needs.

Our experience with Dayspring Senior Living was very good, however it was short-lived as our loved one was only there for a couple of weeks.

Dayspring is in more of a rural area. I found it to be a little sterile and more institutional feeling. It was extremely clean and probably the most modern of the places that we visited. I did like that there was a lot of outdoor space and it was gated. The person giving the tour was very honest, but maybe a little bit too casual.
It is close to family and this is nice for us. My loved one ended up with a big bruise on their eye and the community never let the family know about what happened to my loved one. I was assured by the community that if anything would happen that the community would reach out to the family. The community has bingo and puzzles for the residents to participate in, if they would like to. There are three meals a day served to the residents. There is also ice cream in the afternoon, I believe for the residents. The sign outside of the community doesn't mention anything about memory care or dementia and this was surprising to me as the community is mostly dementia residents.. The community charges an additional fee for dementia residents. There are two homes for the residents, one is for the residents that are up during the evening hours more than others.

Our loved one wasn't at Dayspring very much but will say the staff and the director were very professional and accommodating. We would recommend the facility to anybody.
We chose this because of the value, it is also out in the country and more quiet/a smaller community. They are good room sizes. The food was okay. Our favorite part about this community is the staff members. I would recommend Dayspring Senior Living

The hardest part about bringing my Father here is getting him adjusted. It was rough in the beginning but the staff is super nice and they enjoy him being there. It is a smaller facility with only 32 rooms and my dad has a roommate to keep him company. It’s a very clean facility and the staff seems to be on top of keeping it that way. They have a small cafeteria and the food is a good size portion and it smells good. I would recommend this facility to other families.

A Place for Mom has scored Dayspring Senior Living 6.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
