The communication leaves something to be desired. Nursing staff communicates well most of the time, but the business side is not good at all. Also, they have lost 3 deliveries. 2 were replaced, while one was not(they offered, but we declined). Very clean. The staff is very friendly. Mom really likes them. Nursing staff is great. Most meals are good. Mom eats all meals and rarely complains about them. Plenty of activities to keep mom busy. Cost is lower than other places in area.... Read more

1) The facility is attractive but outdated. The heating and cooling is impossible to regulate. 2) zero effort is made to meet dietary restrictions (diabetic resident, not an early riser and they consistantly bring donuts or pancakes and powdered orange drink to her room when she dines in for breakfast). 3) infrequent/difficult to get a shower attendant even though you pay an upcharge for this care level. 4)main entrance closes at 6pm and by 3pm on weekends making outings and visitations difficult for working family members. 5) after main entrance hours nobody answers incoming calls to the facility. 6) Items dropped off at the desk for delivery don't always make it to residents room. (I dropped off sodsugar free cough drops when mom had covid and they were not delivered until I called 2 days later) There are positives, like group morning chair exercises, crafts, bingo and other group activities, pleasant dining room and gathering areas, church services and many kind care providers.

Our loved one was there for rehab after being released from the hospital for pneumonia. It was a very negative experience. They lost 18 lbs. which they could not afford to lose. That’s about all I can say according to the guidelines. I do not recommend this place for rehab. Can’t say anything about the care in the other areas of CPCV.

My loved one was previously a resident at Crown Point Christian Village and her experience at this facility was very good! This facility is very nice and everyone was very friendly. However, they don't have help call necklaces here at this facility. If a resident needs assistance they have to use the phone to call for it. My loved one has bad vision and wouldn't be able to do that. If it wasn't for that, we would have kept her at this facility. I would recommend Crown Point Christian Village to others.
Read MoreCrown Point Christian Village is a very clean facility. The staff is wonderful. The nursing staff is great, and helps out with a lot of extra things. Mom doesn't mind the food, but isn't thrilled with it. I ate lunch with her once, and thought the food was good. Plenty of activities to participate in. What you get for the cost is great. A lot more than other places offered.

Everyone is real nice!
Excellent experience with staff, P.T., entire group.
Very nice facility.
This facility is wonderful and the staff is great. Everyone worked well and went over and beyond their duties and for this reason we are so grateful to C.P. Christian Village.
Everyone is very nice, prompt, and facility is clean. This is a top notch facility.
I have been treated very well during my stay. Nurses and PT/OT staff are exceptional. Everyone is kind and considerate. The facility is clean and odor free. Food is good.
They take very good care of my grandpa and he seems happy there. The staff are very helpful with the residents, and they're always doing fun and interactive activities. Would highly recommend

Not sure how staff members at this facility can conspire with one person to unjustifiable restrict family from visiting with a resident. If you want your family member to be subjected to isolation from visitors this is the right place to send them.

A Place for Mom has scored Crown Point Christian Village 7.3 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
