Perched on a shady hillside overlooking the Missouri River Valley, Crowell is a nonprofit retirement home providing care to seniors in the Blair, Nebraska, area. Founded in 1905, Crowell offers a full continuum of care with a large number of skilled nursing beds, private rooms, and assisted living services. Their three-story, self-contained assisted living wing offers a cozy fireside lounge, plenty of space for activities and socialization, and several apartment-style homes for residents to call home.
Crowell invites seniors to participate in special activities and private functions in the spacious dining room, and the on-site beauty shop and barber can help keep residents looking and feeling their best. For those looking for a quiet and serene atmosphere to meditate, reset, and relax, there are several spacious common areas, including beautifully landscaped courtyards with cushioned furniture or the comfortable lounge coasting a two-way black marble fireplace.
Crowell’s staff works hand-in-hand to follow your doctor’s plan. In addition to 24-hour nursing and medication management, staff also provide housekeeping and laundry services, building and grounds maintenance, on-site rehabilitation services, and local scheduled transportation. They also encourage residents to participate in community-led social and educational services, recreational activities, and devotional services.
