Keep Looking!

PLEASE KEEP LOOKING. DON'T come here! Resident was overdosed twice within 12 hours to the point of UNRESPONSIVENESS ([dates removed]). Chemical restraints (Haldol) are in use without due respect for heart and blood pressure issues and the fact that it is prescribed for people with disease my mother does not have. Something terrible happened in April, May, and June 2019 described by the Cannon Memorial as a "significant or severe threat to life or function." Constant head injuries, bruises or black eyes where no one knows what happened (this includes observation with other residents, too). Teeth aren't being brushed, resulting in a full mouth debridement by the dentist. Clothes and personal items lost or stolen and Cranberry refuses to replace. However, they made my mother give up her TV when she broke another. They lock my mother OUT of her room so her roommate can have privacy, but what about my mother's place of rest? She pays for that room on a monthly basis. How can th ey lock her out of it????? They are feeding a vegetarian meat without any regard to her moral convictions. ALL staff have no idea how to de-escalate situations and can be rude, argumentative, and devious, especially the management. Note: This establishment is under the umbrella of Affinity Living Group. I'd steer clear from ALL of them.

Needs To Be Updated Inside

My sister has done so much better here to the point where she may be able to return home. She is getting exercise and since being here she hasn't had to use oxygen. She has been eating well with the well-balanced meals they serve. She enjoys being around the other residents and keeping busy with the activities they offer. The outside of the building is lovely however inside looks like an old nursing home the furniture needs to be updated and the floor and the paint needs to be done. The staff is wonderful very nice and caring.

My tour

This community is for residents that require a high level of memory care. This is a locked community and you need to have someone let you in. My loved one did not require this level of care.
