Country Meadows of Allentown

Since moving my Dad to Country Meadows of Allentown, we have seen his health improve through their kind and compassionate care. The Connections Memory Support area focuses on comprehensive care and wellbeing. We have access to the staff and care team. They helped us arrange for proper medical support and therapy. The decision was not an easy one, but seeing how my Dad smiles and has improved, and the waves and greetings he gets from all the staff, we know we made a good decision.

As my mother began to decline a few years ago, I began looking for a retirement community for her. I visited about ten communities in the Lehigh Valley. It was apparent from the beginning that Country Meadows is special. My mother was very reluctant to leave her home but she quickly adjusted to life at Country Meadows. Making new friends, enjoying a wide range of activities, field trips and country rides keep her engaged. She initially lived in the Personal Care building but has since transitioned to Memory Care and she has received very good care in both. The staff at Country Meadows goes above and beyond their duty. From marketing to the nursing staff to maintenance all are excellent. My mother doesn’t always remember the name Country Meadows so she refers to it as “the place where people treat me so nice”.

My father- age 96- was a part of the Assisted Living Community. While only there for 9 months, I felt he was treated with kindness, respect and with a genuine interest in him as a person and his care. His needs were communicated to me in a timely fashion and transport for appointments were managed seamlessly. In addition, his apartment was kept very clean. He enjoyed being able to go the dining room and order from a menu and socialize a bit. From the Marketing Director to ALL the staff, I just can't say enough about our positive experience with the Allentown Campus!

At Country Meadows Independent Living my father enjoys a worry-free and enriching lifestyle. Our family is impressed with the security and comfort of this community. From the friendly staff to the beneficial amenities this place provides peace of mind for all of us.

I’m so happy we’ve found a home away from home for my mother. She loves the care, activities, and atmosphere at Country Meadows. Each resident and their family members are treated like family. The creative programming focuses on the diversity of their clientele. Thanks for everything.

Country Meadows of Allentown was a very nice community. They gave a very nice presentation of their community. The staff seemed very friendly. My mom had some memories of a friend that had previously lived in the community and she decided that it would not be a good fit for her.

We toured this community for our parents, and their needs. Our tour went well overall. Everyone was kind to my family, and I. The staff we met was polite, and our questions were answered. It was good experience, but we find another community that suited our needs better.

Our loved one was here for a few years before she suffered and injury that required a move. They were absolutely fantastic here, 5s all the way across the board. We were really hoping she'd be able to return here after her rehab care, but unfortunately her care needs were beyond what they were able to provide here. Definitely worth a look if you're looking into options for a loved one!
